Yes, many LLCs.

It's fairly easy to set up an LLC through any states Secretary of State website. But you'll need to keep up the annual or biannual renewals plus the registered agent set up, so if you only need a small handful of LLCs it makes more sense to pay a service like these guys. The price is fair and they'll remind you on the state renewals.

Where you live and work. All states require that you register out of state (foreign) corporations that are doing business in that state.

If you dont you risk a huge future tax bill if you get sued. A smart attorney will report your LLC to your states tax board. If that happens you wont be able to even defend your company in court. You will have to pay the tax bill first. Which can lead to a quick and easy judgment against your company.

Thanks everybody...

Michael,
Over the years we see many companies registering in Delaware, due to it's cheaper fee, but you're saying that sets them up for huge tax fees in their own state when sued, possibly.

I don't have a foreign corp... I'm in Arizona and planned on registering in Kentucky or Delaware at a discount and for their privacy laws, however, it's just as easy to register here for $50 more.. assuming I pay state and federal taxes in Arizona, whats the risk registering in another state?
