Digital assets marketplace looking for partners!

Greetings GFY!

I'm the principal admin of Openswap.io a new crypto based marketplace for content creators.

We're looking for content partners to feature on our marketplace as well as our socials.

If you fit the bill, or know someone who does, don't hesitate to reach out! We offer a generous referral fee.

Cheers!

How do you monetize if there are no fees?

Hi Tube Ace!
Thanks for the question.
We don't currently monetize the platform.
We're in the process of developing "pro" level features which will have fees associated with them. Opting in to these features will be completely up to market participants.

Its always been our goal for the platform to be free for all content creators.

Cheers!

What measures do you have in place to prevent thieves from uploading other people's content?

Nice site and great models so far.

Hi TaiGhost!

Thanks for the kind words :)

We're currently taking a manual approach to monitoring stolen content -- looking at social media presence or model release forms. We're also very reactive to takedown requests.

Are the payments peer to peer? As in, buyer transfers funds directly to seller's wallet? Just curious, but if so, are you using the seller's Xpub keys to generate new wallets for each transaction?

I doubt it, considering there's no fees... or are you guys more like a man in the middle? (and customers transfer funds to you first, before making payouts to the sellers on the platform). The latter would mean you end up paying the miners fee two times for each transaction.

Great question! This was something we wrestled with internally during development but we finally settled on the MITM approach as it unlocks potential business value. We might reconsider this in the future though.

You might want to see (ask a lawyer) if you need to have a DMCA link on the site.

Great point! Thank you -- definitely look into that.
