Where do you guys have domains these days?
Hi!
Moving some domains away from onlinenic and got plenty at namesilo, some at namecheap.. thought it may be a good thing to add another registrar to the mix.. can be a super cheap for non important domains. Thanks. |
internetbs.net and porkbun.
|
Porkbun, Dynadot.
|
atakdomain
|
'silo still seems by far best
|
I still have mine at namecheap. Not the cheapest I guess, but after the godaddy fiasco, I moved everything to namecheap, and have never bothered to change :)
|
Still on name dot com, but i dont have them a lot so it does not really matter where they are. But if i decide to suddenly register tons of new domains, then it will be cloudflare as they are not taking any commission.

Most of mine are on GoDaddy, but I have a serious question.
What does it matter? Are there any differences at all on which registrar you use? |
Not many left these days, but I stuck with Namecheap - Mainly because I now how to use it...

btw, what's wrong with godaddy?
been with them since early 2000s. however at some point started moving all domains to internetbs.net, namesilo and recently to porkbun simply because they were cheaper in the long run with renewals and free privacy. i even registered some domains with godaddy because of cheap 1st year with coupon and then didn't renew there but moved elsewhere. can't say i ever had any problems with godaddy (except renewal price and privacy) and i know people with 100s of domains with them. |

Perhaps it was just the guy who dealt with the letter not giving a fuck? Like I said, I had a valid email on file, and 2 legit numbers (one landline, one mobile/cell) and they didn't even bother to try and confirm... Just went ahead and let the guy in - Unbelievable really, but believable to me now! |
Sav.com
The cheapest price usually, with some exceptions (always compare). |

I also have to move away from onlinenic.com:warning |
Another vote for Sav.com.
Today i have won a auction for a domain from 2021-07-13 i forgot to add to my list of domain renewals and for $8,69 i managed to get the domain back with no additional cost. With Sav you can pay with 1 click your orders automatically with Paypal and you don't need to log in every time to approve the payment. With Sav when you add a redirect to your domain they add cloudflare dns to you domain for the redirect and is extremely fast. The low price for the backorder of dropping domains. I have managed to catch many domains with traffic for around $9 each. Fast and clean interface for navigation. |
