I remember that site of Twans, could be a nice domain/site to own for link building.

Old school link building still works well. A blog post or front page link still gets long tail keyowrds way up in serps. I do get a lot of requests from people who want to buy blog posts on sensualwriter. Easy to make back the buying price in a couple of weeks for an active webmaster.
