Ncuti Gatwa will be the first gay Doctor Who, actor Neil Patrick Harris has revealed.

The How I Met Your Mother star was recently revealed as the latest cast member to join the 60th anniversary special of the sci-fi series, which is set to air in 2023.

The upcoming episode will mark Gatwa’s debut as the titular Time Lord, after showrunner Russell T. Davies confirmed the news back in May.

Personally I liked the female Doctor. It wasn't her fault she followed Peter Girbaldi. He was absolutely amazing and starred in the best single episode Doctor Who ever had. You know the one he was trapped in the castle and took multiple lives to chip at the ice block.

Also we all know the Doctor himself has alternate sexual habits. As in the whole Head of Bol/Captain Jack relationship.

But this is the first time the actual actor that played the role is gay, it does not mean he will be courting guys or even avoiding women. They could still have him in hetero situations.

But I am sure this is all just smoke to ignore the true elephant in the room. This guy is BLACK! And it also confirms what we all have believed for so many years, Neil Patrick Harris loves BBC. Yes, that's my little double entendre pun, both meanings apply.

Great now I can call the show 'Doctor Ewwww'!
