Paxum was not bad system, but long time ago.

It all started when they deleted additional emails from user account. I don't understand why. I lost my old additional email in their system which brought me few dollars. It's a pity.

After that they started to ask selfie photo with current date and passport to make payment transaction. WTF is that? I don't know who is behind paxum, I don't know how they store private data. But they ask selfie. May be you need my medical card, guys? ))

You can't recover additional emails (which was deleted by them earlier) in their system. Imagine, they deleted additional email, after that you can't sign up with this email, you can't recover it in other account or in your account. That's crazy!

I don't know Paxum team. I've never seen their office photo or photo of their team, CEO.

Maybe Paxum team will send me selfie with their passports and current date?

I use bitcoin now, and I'm glad!

Thing is, you gotta understand they are legally required to identify their customers (KYC requirements) and they aren't just asking for that stuff for "shits and giggles" as they say.

Being an extremely private person I'm not really into it either, but it's not their fault at all. They legally have to do so.

We know that companies need to follow rules etc, but they should convey new rules to us while implementing..

Wtf,I ve just updated android app and when I ve tried to login, I cant because app is asking to smile with my passport. Wtf...I was using app for years until now,what kind of crap is this?

Same issue , it’s quite annoying that now we need to wait unknown period of time for a further manual wire approval. I feel pity on myself for using them.

This is a nuisance tbh.. Previously the validation was instant! WIRE time shown in dashboard is 3-5 working days.. I don't think they can do that in 5 workings day anyways..

This is a headache as well. I tried uploading ids etc and going thru the app process.. but everytime it says not validated..

this happened since it got updated.. deleted the app now.

Indeed, when updating the application, it goes through a verification process again, which is very strange. It basically took me 5 minutes, which is fine considering my insurer wants me to smile and blink on camera...strange times.

bull fucking shit! there are bigger companies that don't use that bullshit

maybe it is a bug ? They have two active bugs at the moment, and that is something I've noticed. There are probably more.

Can't say. Not sure why there is unwanted delay in approvals and this app issue with Paxum. Maybe Ruth can say something about it.

I am deleting the app and will stop services from anyone asking me crap like that. Just got an answer from support, like it is a perfectly normal thing to share my personal photos with other people online. No fucking way

No where on Paxum site it says you need to provide selfie. It's just that support is asking to provide them. Wonder why....

exactly...what's next, DNA sample, blood test, or something else? Why it worked just fine until now, I never had a problem. I don't have Fb, Instagram, or any kind of shit and I am not spreading my photos and private data online, probably like every rational person with enough brain. How do I know where my photos or videos will end?

No way I am trusting any of the companies so much and their employees especially after a long history of problems (security breaches, failed debit cards, bugs...)

I've deleted an app and won't use it anymore. Already looking for an alternative for another company asking for similar. Will make a separate thread about them soon

Paxum is still a good money transfer solution, never had problems and I have been using them since 2011-2012

Of course, cryptos are more convenient these days

I hope we'll meet Paxum reps at the shows in Berlin or Prague or Limassol... we need to talk :)

Paxum has been terrible for many years. I've been warning people against using them going back a long time on this very forum.

Find an alternative.

CosmoPayment try them as an alternative.

There are no alternative to Paxum, which remains the best system in the adult space to pay and get paid.

No problems here with Paxum. Today i did a banktransfer to my Euro acc, in 1 hour it was on my account.

I really don't understand why you find it strange that they are asking for so many documents lately. It is not their fault that the EU and the US are constantly coming up with new and new regulations and bureaucracy is reaching unprecedented levels.

First they stopped wire transfers in $ currency, and now they removed the wire option completely and forcing me to use EFT which has HORRIBLE exchange rates.

Why would and company in the online banking industry disable wire transfer????????????

EFT isn't working for me. WIRE transfers are taking a lot of time. requested on 17th, still pending and Paxum support says:

Their increasing paranoia, constant bugs, slow support, strange commissions, restrictions began to bore us
We do not accept Paxum payments anymore :)
