Hello, We have been informed that Verisign will be increasing prices for .COM domains starting on September 1, 2022. This means that, unfortunately, NameSilo will need to do the same. We are contacting you because you have active or expired .COM domain(s) in your account. There is still time to take advantage of the current lower prices by renewing your existing domains for multiple years and registering any new .COM names before September 1st. You can disregard this email if you have already renewed your domain(s) recently. The good news is that as of September 1, 2022, we will be increasing the discounts for .COM domains across our Discount Program tiers (for full details and enrollment, please click here). Our current .com pricing is still a better price overall, so we recommend you renew your domains for multiple years or register all your .com domains before September 1st. Our new prices for .COM domain(s) will be as follows: Registration: 1 - 49 domains in one order: $10.95 USD/domain 50- 100 domains in one order: $10.75 USD/domain 101- 500 domains in one order: $10.55 USD/domain Renewal: $10.95 USD/year Transfer: $9.95 USD/domain NEW Discount Program Pricing (active account domains) | 0+ | 100+ | 500+ | 1000+ | 2500+ | 5000+ | Price: | $10.75 | $10.35 | $9.95 | $9.75 | $9.55 | $9.35 | |
I nearly fell for this about 6 years ago when I first got them.
I bet a few people have as at first they look legit. If you have a lot of domain names, you may be less likely to fall for the scam, as you may notice you only get the email for the odd domain name. But for those who only have one (who have purchased it for here business) then your probably going to think it is legit. |
Retracted .. Incorrect information.. See post below!

This is an email sent out by Namesilo, Namecheap sent out a similar one a few days ago. |
Ok... based on my chat with Namesilo, the email I received is legitimate. The "click here" goes to a "click.mlsend.com" domain. Personally I don't click those and just go directly to their site, but each to their own. It is a very suspicious looking email.
So based on what I was told, I retract my statement about Namesilo having an email leak!!! It appears the email I received was legitimate. |
So they are going to raise from Sept first or no? :)

I have had the, where they claim to be the domain firm and asked for payment (often months before the domain was needing to be paid). |

Then time to renew as many as possible :)

It's because of the cost of oil, servers use so much oil ya know...
|
yup it will most likely go up yearly from now on :(
I think I'm going to renew all the domains set to expire this year before the 1st of Sept |
To be honest, I pay double (almost 3 times that in fact) in the UK.
Then again, I do not opt for the cheapest in case I have problems. I remember in the past some of you folk opting for cheap firms, then finding you lost domain names and all sorts of problems. |

he does own a few stupid names, but it doesn´t matter when you´re claiming money from the British government to subsidise your living, let the British citizens all pay for the .coms :disgust |
MojoHost is keeping it's .COM's at $9.99 for all transfers and renewals and includes free privacy. We will even concierge move over your domains with one of our team members when provided access.
