Earthquake Mexico
Just experienced my second earthquake, this time in Puerto Vallarta. September 19. Exactly 5 years after te eathquake in mexico City. And also in 1985 there was a big earthquake september 19.
I was at the airport when it happened and we sprinted outside. The terminal was build well, nothing happened. Epicenter of the 7,3 was 300KM away. |
Damn, that looks pretty bad

Looks like 3 people got killed when a gym collapsed and from flying bricks. More in the direction of the quake, Manzanillo / Colima. At the airport i didn't expect it was so hard, but some buildings seemed to have damage and needs inspection. And now they say a vulcano in Colimo show more activity. If it gets more active i will be in Brazil soon.

Crazy stuff. I felt my first earthquake in Acapulco, Mexico in February 2020 while downstairs of my rented villa. I guess you can say I was a bit shook.

God Vulcan (Latin: Vulcanus, in archaically retained spelling also Volcanus, both pronounced is the god of fire including the fire of volcanoes, deserts, metalworking and the forge in ancient Roman religion and myth. September is a fiery month – in the Roman calendar, it is the seventh month and is also dedicated to Vulcan, Roman god of Fire.
