You got any 'Prime Day' deals yet?

Just picked up a "Samsung 980 1 TB PCIe 3.0 (up to 3.500 MB/s) NVMe M.2 Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) (MZ-V8V1T0BW)" as an extra drive to use for my video editing. Not the fastest (Its Gen 3) but fast enough for my needs.

It will stop my main m.2 drive (Gen 4) from getting full up so quickly and reduce my need to keep coping it over to an external drive to save space.

Plus its always handy to have m.2 drives available if I wanna use them for anything else (like in an arcade machine) in the future.

Got a really good deal on it :)

You?

PS B4 U say U cunt a4dit, I always do a DNA (Did Not Arrive) claim anyway, so although its still FREE I dont feel as guilty about ripping amazon off, coz it was well cheap to begin wiv.!

They had some discounted air fryers. So I thought I'd toss fifty bucks at one and asked friends for suggestions and went down a research rabbit hole.

So, yeah, now I spent $500+ on air fryers. But see, one has pressure cooking integrated and one has a griddle. So I totally needed both.

I hope it turns out I like air frying.

I did get a $150 discount, so I've got that going for me.

I hear yah :thumbsup

Mine has arrived already ! Ordered it last night, fairly late (to me in the UK) and was awoken a couple of hours ago with it at my door ! Installation to take place after my morning activities.

Funny thing is, that it will take me longer to disconnect all cables, move PC, open PC, Close PC, Move PC and reconnect cables, than it will to do the actual install of the drive itself into the empty m.2 bay... Crazy !

Well I ordered at just gone 9 at night, and got a pretty good discount. I went to bed, & I was awoken at 7 in the morning by the postman ringing my bell.

Cant get anything much faster than that without leaving the house, and even if I had left the house to drive somewhere, no stores would have been open at that time of night.

There it is, in my computer and I'm using it now :thumbsup

Funny Story - Actually had an email from amazon about the drive. Said they were sending me a refund of about £3.45 to my account, as since I bought it, it has been further reduced in price.

Never had that happen before!

Crazy... Must be something they've just started doing... :2 cents:
