I bought a (permanent) post a year ago. Almost exactly a year after publishing it, my post got deleted and I got no answer since then from him.

As always, I can show proof (email screenshots).

As always (2): after publishing this, I expect a prompt answer from that person, with excuses and promises to make things right (if I delete this post etc)

Yep, i used to buy a lot of lifetime links but dont think any of them are still up.

Posts are usually sold as "lifetime" but sometimes they can go on a yearly basis. IMO a "lifetime" spot should remain online as long as the seller operates the website. If the site is sold and the new owner removes your "lifetime" spot, you're probably out of luck.

Yes, it happens with links (header, sidebar, homepage, footer). But who goes through the list of posts and selectively deletes articles that look like paid guest posts?
In the worst case, I would expect that person to contact me and maybe ask for extra money or the like.

Thank you, I dropped a message on his threads. His contact email is listed in my post ([email protected]) so it's the same person, or somehow connected to @randacalandra

I use scripts to check, and if they find the link is missing, I check manually. Then I send one or two polite warning emails (3 days apart) and most of the time it does the job. After that comes "the last warning shot", and then... If I have leverage (his links on my sites, he has GFY or BHW account) I use it, if not I count it as "I learned a lesson"
