how important is the resolution 2022
 

So 4k has been around for a few years, a few sites offer 4k, however, what difference would it be in sales and viewing to watch 1080 or 720 on a subscription paysite or clips site?


Many people now subscribe and watch porn from their phone or tablet, as long as the quality of the film to be high standard, shot in a good camera, colour, no blur, would it still be understanding to view a video in full HD or is 720 still high quality, especially if viewing on a TV?

I think that the content itself would matter more than HD or 4K. If it's really good content that the customer wants, he's going to watch it regardless of the HD, 2K or 4K resolution.

What you might want to consider is rending your work in 4K as usual, but to also make 2K and HD versions available. Since HD is a smaller size, it can load faster on devices with slower Internet connections. If you upload 4K content to Youtube, they render your videos in HD and 2K too for this reason.

Im stiull selling a ton of SD content. even stuff I shot in early 2000 . I think as long as a paysite tho has HD and like Mark said content is good it will sell. Good lighting , audio , camera work. Clean sets

I have a 4k version I sell in addition to the monthly and they sell like soy in Canada. Huge files though /: and takes 18 hours to render
