I heard all the best about their food, wine and hospitality in general. It is also relatively cheap.

I just back from there last night. Spent a week, walked every inches in Tbilisi looking for apartment area to rent.
It's a no no for me. People are so angry behind the wheel. They drive like crazy. Honking every 2 seconds lol. While I work I hear it all the time. So if you stay in your room. You will hear it too. Dog poop everywhere. Street dogs are fine. they see people all day. I watched youtube they said services are bad. But I went to a restaurant they treated me pretty nicely. Food is fine. Wine is fine. City is hill everywhere. I travel and work. I walk a lot. I'd say it's pretty safe there. But. I got mugged by 4 kids on the street! Fucking hell. at first this little girl comes alone ask for money I smiled and walked away, they came back with friends and put hands in every pockets and pulled me. They touched my wallet, passport, and phone but did not get it. I don't know why. I shouted but no body help lol. And I didn't wanna punch a kid lol. So I pulled their hands out and went into a shopping mall. If you like big city Tbilisi maybe not for you. I feel like it's a small old town. I like St. Peter and Moscow way more. But that's another story :thumbsup |

Georgia is beautiful country, recommend to visit

Perhaps now is not the best time to visit, because there are so many refugees there, you may not even find housing

Went there a couple of times in the past 2 years for skiing when Europe was on Covid lockdown.
We love the food there, and everything is so cheap compared to Europe |
I heard all the best about their food:thumbsup

An American (mid-50s) who's been there a couple of times spanning ten years ago to 2019. They like Americans but have that little country complex. Great food and wine and their varieties of bread/cheese are unbelievably good. Women are a hit-or-miss by miles. The good-looking ones are outstanding, but usually have a mafia-looking guy attached to them. Not a lot of people speak English. The Country is a 3-day-er at most for most travelers. If you're going to park, a good year is a must. Get out to the country and you'll love the place. Don't go to Armenia the people and country suck.

Apparently, it has a Mediterranean type culture. I'd like to visit sometime.

Great country I hear.
