Fuck You PAXUM. GFY, from the USA

I just spent hours over the last couple days registering my business account with Paxum for nothing.

First was the Business Account Registration process form on the main website where I had to enter every fucking detail about my personal and business details, income, shareholder, directors, etc.

Then they created an account for me. Once I logged in and verified my account, I was told I needed to do a full-blown KYC including uploading over a dozen business documents including EIN forms, bank statements, credit card statements, photo ID with selfies, business operating agreements, shareholder and director registers, and a shit ton more.

After spending hours gathering all those documents. I get the following email:

"We regret to inform you but due to regulatory restrictions we can not provide services to clients living in your area."

They then immediately closed my account and removed my login access.

ALL THAT FUCKING WORK I JUST DID FOR SOMETHING YOU COULD'VE TOLD ME ON THE HOMEPAGE?

How about a fucking dropdown or something on the registration page you fucking incompetent morons?

Question 1: What country is your business? Not a supported country, no problem, sorry we can't help you.

I thought Paxum was a nightmare for many affiliates, but I see their incompetence reaches further to the business side also.

I would love to know what information we took from you and ran with?
Please email me [email protected] with what you are talking about or kindly edit your post so you are not accusing us of something we did not nor would ever do.

Just to update the thread

When anyone from within the united states wishes to make a paxum account they must register through paxum bank. When you go to paxum.com and click a register a ride-side slide-in is presented that lets you know this exact information and a button you can press that says proceed to paxum bank

If you click that big button it takes you to paxum bank
If you click anywhere outside of the slide it - it takes you to the paxum.com registration that we told US Clients not to use.

Regards
Chris

Had the exact same issue and gave up.

Could you report back your outcome?

Chris, hope all is well.

I suggest implementing a very easy change up, that should help everyone.

You are already tracking the visitor IP, and recognize that the site visitor is from XYZ (i.e. USA). You should do a complete overlay, with a slightly clearer message, stating that because you appear to be in ______________ (i.e. United States), regulations require your _____________ company to be registered through our partner/affiliate/subsidiary _______________.

After X # of seconds automatically redirect them to the appropriate URL. If regulations require that the visitor initiate the step, then keep the button for them to click on.

one thing people seem to seldom understand is that paxum is not in control of global financial regulations and literally has to play by those laws/rules or risk their entire business.... I understand the frustrations but the real 'culprit' isn't paxum it's the ones who are making the regulations. Paxum has literally zero control of that.

Yep.. But at least they can put on a notice on the site or send emails to us let us know that there will be delays in processing due to a change in banking partners.
