Had a guy back in the day, around 2001-ish that didnt cancel until 2013 (and im still pretty sure that was because of his card expiring) that rang up almost $6k on a monthly subscription, and logged in only 4 times during that period.

Its unfortunate those days are long gone, it was like shooting fish in a barrel with a rocket launcher :1orglaugh

Alot of site owners don't care about the smaller customers. What they forget though is that over time, small customers will spend thousands and thousands of dollars if they are happy with the product, treated right, and get a little recognition once in a while.

Congrats on your repeat sales dude.

Yeah man, especially with all the credit card apps nowadays they get alerted to new charges etc. and that can't help. Plus I'm seeing a large uptick in failed rebills but I guess that speaks to the current state of the economy.

Yeah we fucked the industry pretty bad in the early-mid 2000's :/

do you have some survey stats to prove your statement? i don't know any site owners who "don't care about the smaller customers". they are all smaller customers in porn. the average sale is $30. all paysite owners live off rebills. maybe you're too far out of the game.

Would a credit card not expire at all during those 20 years?

most banks only need cvv/exp verification for the initial sale. after that, they let it ride unless cancelled. a lot of customers overlook a $30 monthly charge on a credit card.

Automatic card updater :thumbsup

You pay per record and query the cardholders bank if there is a newer version of the card. Costs me a lot every month but worth it overall.

Obviously the third parties do it as well.

Yeah, but just taking these people's money at this point for nothing. If that makes you feel good then whatever.

it's even better with cams because people spend daily over and over.
