Paxum WIRE Delays.. Again...

So, WIRE delays are happening again. Requested on 29th. Haven't seen the money in my account yet.

Support answer confuses to another level..

=========
Kindly note that the transfer is currently pending validation from our payment processor.

Please be advised that for this type of transfer, it can take up to 5 business days (weekend days not included) for the funds to be reflected in your bank account, after it was validated by our payment processor.

We appreciate your understanding on this matter.
==========

Isn't WIRE processed in 5 business days? Now, since the validation is still pending, after it's done, I have to wait another 5 business days?

@RuthB and @Chris, I emailed you but no replies yet. Can you update pls?

grzepa 12-07-2022 02:48 AM

Youll get your wire eventually. I don't think if there are any delays it's Paxum's fault.
Im using ETF transfers and they sometimes arrive few minutes later.

brassmonkey 12-07-2022 10:42 AM

it was probably rejected... you ask your bank?

It didn't show up at my bank yet. I confirmed. I think something else is the reason for delay.

Wah wah...

feetnerd 12-07-2022 11:29 PM

same here, got the EUR transfer instantly and the USD transfer was requested on the same day as the EUR one it's like 6 days I am waiting for! what is going on?

Slappin Fish 12-08-2022 01:00 AM

EFTs delayed too? didn't receive mine and never received the email saying transfer initiated either... (transaction does show in history)

Slappin Fish 12-08-2022 01:44 AM

Yep looks like everything is delayed again, other processors had problems with USD very recently wouldn't be surprised if Paxum had some too, I have a bad feeling about it this time worse than last time for some reason. Hopefully we get some clarification soon.

sk7411 12-08-2022 04:33 AM

Again … noh! I was about to make EUR withdrawal after they told me USD is no longer supported.

Please do update when you get your money.

Slappin Fish 12-08-2022 05:24 AM

Many reasons wires can be delayed but EFTs delayed again is usually an indication of a more serious problem, can Ruth or someone from Paxum let us know if it is just a backlog, more banking problems and if/when it is expected to be resolved?

gar 12-08-2022 05:35 AM

I usually get my EFT same day but this time it took 3.

brassmonkey 12-08-2022 11:11 AM

you better make sure your bank is ok with the bank in rotation. you get what im saying? ex your bank is wells fargo and sending bank is belize empire bank... then paxum changes the sending bank to china republic bank... they won't take the payment. so paxum has to rotate your funds to anther bank... just a guess...

Tulku 12-08-2022 04:38 PM

I'm usually getting EUR EFT for a day .. now got it for 2 days .. nothing strange ..

blackmonsters 12-08-2022 04:43 PM

Another Paxum success story.

:2 cents:

We are talking about USD ..not EUR.

In Thailand Paxum USD EFT is usually instantaneous... it has been over 3 days still nothing

thezio 12-09-2022 12:32 AM

update > Still no money in my bank. Paxum portal says WIRE EURO processed. Support says they transferred my ticket to concerned department and no other update from them.

Ruth replied to my mail, said she will be look into it. This was on 7th. replied to her mail today. I hope she can throw some light on delays.

You can't expect that from them. They didn't tell what's wrong and how they are fixing it. Guess they don't owe an explanations to their customers anymore.

youdeserve 12-10-2022 08:09 AM

Yeah, I noticed on some early december EUR payments, that it took 3 days. Support was not helpfull at all.

Yeah, SEPA transfers within the EU, EUR to EUR, so no conversion nothing.
In the last couple of months if it was initiated before 2 pm CET, it arrived the same day, if it was in the morning, probably by midday. They are sending through a service operating out of Finland, or at least their bank is finnish, anyhow, it was quick. Not anymore it seems.

Yes. Paxum was so good before. Not sure what's going on anymore.

sk7411 12-11-2022 01:16 AM

For Indian users , some of their support say no payment methods available anymore , some say you can do Euro , while their dashboard have both EUR and USD wrongly showing up . I liked paxum once but not anymore 😞.

@thezio let us know when you get the money .

Slappin Fish 12-11-2022 01:34 AM

Received the EFT. took longer than usual but received it in the end, would be nice to get an update about issues.

youdeserve 12-11-2022 02:53 AM

My main annoyance with them, that sometimes the EFTs are just not validating. Exact same details as before, but it is just pending for hours, until eventually after usually 12 hours, sometimes 24, it just gets refunded without any notification. Then on next try it goes through immediately. Same with the costly card transfers where my favorite is when it seemingly goes through, but instead of instant, you get credited in 2-3 days, paying a premium service fee for a slower than EFT result.

thezio 12-15-2022 01:14 AM

UPDATE - Support asked for more patience and WIRE still not received. Ruth / Chris haven't replied to my follow-ups.

youdeserve 12-16-2022 06:18 AM

Last couple of days, even internal p2p transfers are heavily delayed. I have one pending for a day now...

Yes. Support isn't disclosing the reason for delays.

My wire still hasn't hit the bank account. Almost 3 weeks now since requested.

As per the bank's internal policy

I am looking for my second WIRE to get rejected as well. This is bollocks!

A few months ago I had a wire rejected for this exact reason as well, after asking my bank for clarification, it had to do with Paxum's cryptocurrency license with FINCEN where my bank was rejecting any transaction originating from a financial institution with a license to trade cryptocurrencies. The best solution was to find another bank that doesn't hate on crypto.

Jesus H Christ 2.0 12-20-2022 08:01 AM

That can't be good.

thezio 12-20-2022 09:41 AM

Well.. I asked support to revert all WIRE transfers. Money has been refunded to my Paxum account. Now need to wait for them to fix their system before I take my money out.

Yesterday i looked at my Paxum and the money from CB was already there before i received the CB payment e-mail, got that 3 hours later.

Made a EFT transfer to my bank in EU and within 30 minutes i got it on my bank account, also before i got the CB e-mail.

I've got same issues in the past with USD transfers .. the problem was the Intermediate Bank .. so you can try to talk with your bank about that ..

same here, I send wire once per month, 3-4000, and gets on the bank account in max 3 days. I think there is problem with bank or intermediate bank who marks transaction as suspicious or something and blocks/reverts it, not with paxum.
