assuming this is a legit OP (like Fuze I find it kinda odd) for real set some boundaries. not inhospitable to ask some to call or whatsapp before coming by. I love my friends but everyone knows to notify me if they want to stop by. then I get the opportunity to say yea or nay
I'd consider it rude to drop by someone's home unannounced. if they're out in their front yard diff story. same with me. even the maintenance dude at my new place who's a friend whatsapp'ed me before coming over to fix a wonky tap; is 4pm on Monday good for you? yeps it was cuz I had notice. I put on actual clothes before he arrived (I hate laundry so the less I wear 'round the house the better)
as to your phone? turn off the ringer when you're busy. my phone gathers dust I ignore it so, hence the whatsapp utility I have on my comp that I frequently ignore as well
one of my fav places to hang out when I don't feel like going out is right cross the street. kind of a stall with a few chairs out front and he serves food and drink though I don't partake. his weed is wicked tho and chill peeps who don't hit on me and like lively convo congregate there. I know where he lives: right behind the place. hell would freeze over before I knocked at his door impromptu. same with me as he knows where I live but does not intrude 'pon my personal space and odd hours of work
without boundaries we are slaves to our machines and peeps with no sense of decorum
think of it as the modern and more enlightened version of 'good fences make good neighbors'
