What do the popular business owners do when they leave adult?
The likes of RB has https://www.stage32.com what did others end up doing in the non-porn world, Mark DeForest, Steve LightSpeed, BossHawg, Lensman, etc?
I know Mark entered the gaming arena a few years back with a popular (at the time) video game. What about the others? Does anyone know what the big names from the old days got into after quitting the industry? |
Sig whoring?

...that is a great question.

Most end up in a pinned topic at the front page mostly beginning with "RIP" or "Arrested".

Lightspeed went off the deep end and tried to sue everyone that "caused him to fail".

I wanna know what happened to Kevin, I think his user name was KRL who supposedly was one of the people on the men.com deal years back. He was a really nice guy.
Then there's TushyCash.com - he ran off to like Israel or something, but I sure miss him. And what about Roger from realitykings? Maybe it was pornkings, one of those. |

Not sure why you said "popular" - since leaving the industry they should be successful. Leaving without a plan is just dumb - leaving with several million means they don't have to crawl their way through life or attempt a come back.
Those who loose their jobs or leave are basically friendless in this industry - you'll find it hard getting any help and always get told to try job forums or start your own business etc. unless they got a spot for you specifically. If you're active and have a good network then you have a chance to keep going. Popular or not - those who you counted as your friend will ignore you or pass you off. Few are actually your friend. |

What you said isn't always the case. I had to burn bridges on purpose to finally get out, and that was hard to do.. ps. It's lose, not loose. |
some have gone to thailand and only resurface to film content during the shows :thumbsup

Getting out is hard, though, even that one time when I worked for Ruseful was a time when I tried to quit then was given a job instead. I had a real job but then I was paid to quit. There's a lot that I never said publicly, and I might have gone a little overboard with getting people mad at me, but I really needed the change and I am happier now. Sorry about all of that. |

This is what I hear from them NOT me. If it hasn't happened to you then I'm glad - I hope it doesn't - but there are many sales rep's etc. that are not around anymore for that same reason. |

But I do still hustle kind of, I go home on every break and lunch, like right now, and work on a Unity project that I've been wanting to do for a long time now. This way, though, I can get steady checks without worrying about if I'll finish or if they'll pay, and I have taxes and retirement on auto now. I just don't really want to make websites anymore. I made my first one in 1998 and it's been long enough lol. |
The thing is there is no reason to leave but rather build other things. Hire good people to run it etc.

Investing and relaxing :)
