AWS is a pretty liberal platform but it is expensive. they will charge for everything

Have you used AWS before?

We get a lot of customers moving from AWS and I've seen enough AWS bills to confidently second BRKUK - they charge for everything - by the second, request or GB, it all adds up to a hefty sum as soon as you have any traffic to speak of. Then it costs more money to leave.

All my sites are now on AWS, but only because I am able to do all the admin work myself. I agree that it can be expensive, especially if you don’t size everything correctly.

However, my bill is less than half of what I was paying at Performative. I couldn’t leave there fast enough once the original Natnet guys were gone
