100% disk usage when visit realtor.com.
 
I get 100% disk usage when visiting that site and it doesn't drop until a few minutes after closing the site. what is it?

Realtor.com is a website you can go to in order to find realtors or properties for sale.

I don't see any issues on my end, disk usage was 2% loading the site and instantly fell to 0% after

I don't see any error, but the error you describe is usually caused by full-screen floating adsense ads on some sites.

Sounds like combo of old browser and fancy javascript. I had same happening on older versions of firefox, so your first step would be to try other browser and update current browser.
