Adult Traffic loss
Did you notice any traffic loss in the last couple of months (google / other sources) ?
Some of our customers are concerned about this problem, leave your opinion. |
Last 5 months have been several very large updates.
Octobre spam update: This was very big, the biggest in years... and it knocked down websites of all kinds, news, adult, warez, automatic affiliate stores, niches, etc... Practically everything went to shit with that update. December helpful content update: This update, as announced, had a duration of 14 days, but the rollout lasted much longer and lasted 28 days until January. The last days before finishing the update it was fluctuating a lot and many more sites went to hell. And the last few weeks Google is weird asf. |

I've noticed it's not only related specifically to the adult niche. Others also had a drop in traffic
|
we have suspended our projects until Google is stable. Although I am no longer sure that this will ever happen
|
why don't you try to find customers in other niches for now by the way?
|
In fact, we have no problems with new customers, there is a lot of work, customers often share experiences, that's all.

There are so many more traffic sources than Google. I don't ever rely on Google.

Traffic has been down since December.
But Springtime is coming so I am always hopeful things will improve. But, given the financial instability these days (looming recession etc) plus tax season coming....maybe it's May before things pick up. Quote:

I see much more adult ads on Google these days, I think that is part of the issue
|
Not sure if i have this right or not, but to hold business until a later date to see how things work out with google, just seems a waste of time.
Work work work. Create your sites & logically, will chatGPT will also learn what sites are recommended, using the right words, using SEO, you should still have traffic... if natural traffic for you is search engines :2 cents: |
