Do any of you have experience getting a work from home job and doing it from another country?
Should work, shouldn't it? Skype UK/US phone number, bank account, good internet connection... and employer doesn't need to know that you're located in, say Thailand? :upsidedow

Been doing it for 17 years.

Most companies that I did that with didn't care as long as I was able to get paid by them and did my own taxes. My plane tickets were a lot more expensive when I went to Europe, though, but I didn't pay for those..

There is no reason that I can think of why it should matter. The only issue could be time zones, meaning, clients may want you online and available during their time zone to help them. Otherwise, there's nothing stopping you at all for working for anyone, from anywhere.

The world is full of it, digital nomads now.
They are ble to earn money as freelancer, affiliate, own company, or employer. Go to an event with a lot of online companies and introduce yourself there. Did you get someone pregnant and on the run? just asking :) |

I had a Thai girlfriend. Moving to Thailand for one is probably not too smart. They are extremely selfish and self serving. |
Depends on the company.
I've been working from home since 2007 and will never go back to an office. For a while I was working for Dating Factory in the UK and had no issues. Sometimes I had to get up early for conference calls. |

And be in control that an ex-girlfriend/wife don't get all the money :) But seems that isn't a problem (yet). |
