Trafficking seems to be the new anti porn tool
 

Trafficking one would presume meant taking a person from one country to another.

However it seems to have had the meaning changed to an umbrella term where it seems to sex work.

This seems to be the new tool for those who are anti porn.

They say porn sites traffic women.

The notion being that even though a woman has not been forced in any way to be part of the porn film. Indeed they may have contacted the porn film to do the shoot. And even if the shoot is only topless or nude, and no sex is involved. That she has done the shoot by not fully understanding the implications.

In other words she has not understood the implications of doing the shoot.

I have noticed in the last year that when people who are anti porn talk about porn being bad, that they now say websites are dealing with Trafficking.

I am going to suspect over the next few years that we will see sites prosecuted for Trafficking when models could easily simply claim they were not fully understanding of what they got into. As it is almost impossible to prove that the model fully understood what she was getting into, it would be probably an easy conviction, especially is the jury themselves is a bit anti porn, or views those who do porn as always bad and those who are models in porn are by definition victims.
