Things not to say to female models
Hello GFY,
So I have an.. ..acquaintance shall we say, who is trying to break-in to the adult entertainment arena. He is a good guy, but painfully socially awkard, and gleefully unaware of the basics of not only the adult industry, but of working with models in general. He cannot understand why people do not want to work with him even though he says and does the most insane things. It is so rediculous that I have to laugh. It is as if he has a list of things not to do, and insists on doing them anyway, again and again. So this brings me to a question: What is the worst thing that you have said or done, or heard of being said or done, that cause the complete disruption of a scene or production? What happened that caused 1 or more models to walk-out or quit? What has a porn newbie said or done that caused an extra paifull facepalm? |
Rohypnol is your friend.
It saves you worrying about what to say. |

Give us some examples. |
Models have feelings too (?) . . . It ain't that hard, he should treat them like you would treat any other woman.
|
I could give a long list of things that you SHOULD say to models...
But surely what you SHOULDNT say is reasonably obvious? |

Someone referred to Trixie Racer as 'content' once and she about lost her fucking mind.

I'd be a bit irked too, but def nothing to get into a fuss over. rather just a "hello, you're referring to a human being over here" response. guessing rather that comment was made in a general atmosphere of disrespect during the shoot and she was fed the fuck up, but I wasn't there so I dunno never worked with a female IRL but I suppose something like "it burns when I go pee, is it like that for you?" would qualify |
most POV is filmed by nerdy socially awkward guys who dont have access to mirrors (also the target demographic, or it should be at least) so he should just be himself and keep rolling through all the goof ups and faux paux (spelling?) errors. makes fanbase relateable plus members like laughing and taking cheap shot comments at everything imperfect. yet they stick around for the next gazillion episodes to see what fuqs up next. some of my most popular videos are where the girl almost gets sent home and argues with me then we squash it and fuck. common with first time amateur models people like the conflict and pushback

Well from a pornstar's own comments who said during a live interview the guy asked her to get naked then asked her to start moving around and she could tell he was jerking off. So I would say that's a bad omen of red flag as to one thing to say to a cam girl. She's already had experience and if she's worked leave her alone and stop treating them like your own personal harem |

At least in the fetish side of the business where I work, we models talk. We know who's unprofessional and who isn't. We warn each other and look out for each other. If it's just general social awkwardness, he'll be fine. I'd say 80 pct of the producers I've worked for on the fetish side fit that bill :upsidedow |

- A model refused this, remidning him that she was a professional model with years of experience, etc. He turned around and called her bitch, and asked her if she were bi-polar, or "on the rag". So, yeah..... |

Ouf, offering a video call on skype is a general red flag. I've had to do these calls sometimes with models back when I worked at ModelCentro and even though all I did was show website functionality on my shared screen, most are spooked by it because they think you'll start flashing them or demanding a free preview of their work. And it's supposedly much easier for me since I'm female.
If the calls he has are professional, where he talks through the models' preferences, plans the scene out, and discusses details of the job, it shouldn't be a problem. Covid taught us that zoom is the way to meet when no in-person meeting is possible, and it's a lot more normalized now. However, I think what he means by "audition" and "training" via skype is just him looking for freebies. If I was the model I'd charge per minute for these "training sessions". The easiest way to antagonize a performer is to treat them like a piece of meat. |
