It was "wholesome".
I enjoyed it. Every Oscar was without discussion the right choice.

I had a chance to go, but got a very unlucky seat and couldn't see a damn thing.

I will never understand why people waste their time watching celebs get awards, or who cheated on who, etc.

I don't care who's banging who either, but I like watching the Oscars... I don't know why...

What pisses me off though is that they do not show the technical awards. I want to know who is winning for things like visual effects, but I think they have offloaded all of the technical achivement awards to their own show which is not broadcast. Sucks.

I get that she's a singer or someone who contributed music to Wakanda Forever I think, and good for her and all that... but I think she's an incosiderate bitch.

But imagine the poor people behind her. This is one of the biggest nights of their lives, and they have to be stuck behind some idiot who thinks their fashion choice is more important than their ability to enjoy the show.

I can just bet that absolutely no one asked her to remove her head gear, or even lower it. She looks like the kind of woman that would have turned around and screamed her head for it.

Totally agree! WTF is that shit? Take off the head gear once you are sitting down. You want to look like a fool on the Red Carpet (now white for some reason, so racist) go ahead but take off that Carmen Miranda bullshit when seated in front of (probably more talented) people.

I'm actually quite happy that the Oscars are paying less attention to POPULARITY or COMMERCIAL SUCCESS as one of the factors in determining Best Picture.

It can still use a push towards a greater focus on artistry and innovation but hey, I'll take what I can get.
