Paxum EFTs delayed again?

Usually receive them almost instantly but my last EFT has been pending for a week or so, any rep that can clarify the situation?

Brian mike 04-02-2023 11:32 PM

My eft's experience is:
monday to thursday i get it the next day !
If i do an eft friday i get it the next tuesday...

Denny 04-03-2023 02:06 AM

It seems so. Submitted mine 4 days ago and it's still pending. Normally receive it almost instantly or within 24h max.

brassmonkey 04-03-2023 04:04 AM

musical chairs. will it get there or not :2 cents::2 cents:

adtrafic 04-03-2023 07:07 AM

FUD post.

I just made an eft and received it in less than 2 minutes.

Good for you. mine is still pending. You really need to learn the meaning of a question mark petal

You have a live chat and ticket system in paxum where you can contact support directly.

It should be the first option before asking in a forum.

I did that already, I want to know if others are also experiencing delays.

It is not "FUD" if it is a question and a real experience, anyway I like Paxum, don't get all flustered, they are big boys they don't need you to gobble them

What did you get from support? It is rare that you would exclude that information in your question, since it is quite relevant.

I said I sent a message I didn't say I got an answer yet.

Paxum has always come through and wanted to check if others (like Denny) also experienced delays. There is no need to be so defensive, believe me Paxum has gone through a lot more than a question on gfy. They have thicker skin than you

Sorry, I didn't want to sound aggressive.

It's just that with everything that's going on around paxum, any post that might be FUD, I think it's bad for everyone.

I would understand that you ask here if they really don't answer you and it seems that there are real problems. In that case, it would be relevant information for everyone.

I hope the money arrives soon.

Cheers

I get it the FUD thing, I actually like Paxum but I am currently traveling and lost the card for one of my bank accounts so was waiting on this EFT to replenish a different account for which I still have the card, hence wanting to know if there was delays or if I should just try again.

Pretty useless responding, I dont usually argue with people on the internet but I am not on a lifetime holiday at my Auntie's in Florida where I can visit the bank, I travel for weeks at a time of course I have many contingency plans (my wellbeing doesn't depend on an EFT) and also initiated a wire but believe it or not EFTs from Wise or Paxum are usually the quickest way to get funds

The same problem regarding USD wires. I wait wait wait for my WT more than a week (did it on Apr, 3). and now support answered my wire is still in Pending on the payment processor's end.
Does anybody know how long time it actually could takes?

And has anyone received US wires from Paxum in the last 2-3 weeks? Or we're faced with a systems problem?

It usually takes 5 business days, at least it's what it says on the website.

The last one here (end of March) took around 10-15 days, longer than expected.

Money sent by EFT on Saturday arrived today.
I think it is normal.

Nick_awt 04-11-2023 11:21 PM

An EFT should take no longer than 24 hours, once it has been actually sent. That is not a guideline, that is how they work.
Most of the time, they should be pretty much instant. So there are definitely major issues.

Would be nice if someone from Paxum came here and gave everyone an update.

Yes, I did a wire request last week and received it within a day.

What bank do you use? National or regional?

There is an international wire (usually takes 3 days), and yesterday support said again that it's still in pending. So the issue regards not my bank but Paxum processor only. :(

Today after a 15-day waiting period my transfer was rejected with the reason "According to the internal policy of the bank".
But I don't understand the bank's policy of not allowing my wire to be processed, because in true the bank's policy is one to transfer money.

I would like more transparency from Paxum what's stopping them from doing it. At least a reference to specific points of the "bank policy" and advice on how I can fix it if the problem on my side.

I live in deep Africa, and wire transfers are the only way to get money.

I had a similar problem to this last year, unfortunately the solution was to get a new bank. Here's what my bank told me at the time: Per internal policy, we will not facilitate wires to/from a crypto-related entity.

I'd reach out to Paxum and see if they can provide you a list of known banks that are confirmed to work in your country and get an account with that bank.

I hope you received my email reply earlier today. I have an open query with the accounting team about this situation and I hope to have more details for you soon, along with suggestions for moving forward with your withdrawal. I'm sorry you've encountered this situation.

Paxum is working fine . Payment initiated on Saturday was received early morning today.

If you account for the time difference, the transfer took less than 18 hours.

Great work Paxum.

Yep, I've had the same problem at least twice in the last year (in May and September).
Once I changed banks, now I'm thinking of going back to my old bank.

@ruthb

What happened to the page where u could check the status of EFT's ?

EFT's seem to be taking a while now. Whereas previously they were instant or within 24 hours.

So would be useful to see if they have been validated or are pending etc.

Thanks

R4M 04-24-2023 04:03 AM

@ruthb thank you very much, I repeated the wire and it reached me today in a usual time. ))

Hi Ruth,

Any chance of an answer on this? EFT's still taking many days for some people. EFT's should be received within 24 hours once they are sent. Thanks
