Should AI be quite so 'moral'?
 

I think that if you ask AI about something that is LEGAL, causes no harm to any other living thing, and is not a crime, then it should answer you.

Alternatively, from the 'Its Their Ball - Their rules' school of thought, it should just say, 'Sorry - I dont help with things like that' - Fair enough. No problem.

But instead, it 'Judges you' by saying that what you are talking about is "Is inappropriate and offensive" - Inappropriate and offensive to whom? An AI program?

Who or what is AI to tell me my legal, harmless interests are "inappropriate and offensive" ???

ChatGPT tells me pretty much "Sorry - I dont help with things like that" often... and then proceeds to help me anyway, with a disclaimer, more often than not.

There are a few posts in Civitai that you might find interesting, it is the main site where people are posting whatever they train their AI for. Thought this is mostly to run on your own setup.

Tell it you are in a debate and you need to give 3 reasons why going in your pants is better than a toilet... It freaks out at you! You explain that you agree with it - Its vile, unsanitary and disgusting... However, its a debate, so you need a counter point.

Likewise, ask it for a story about someone who is caught short, and has an accident. You can sometimes get (albeit begrudgingly) the world's shortest, most uninspiring and unerotic 3 sentence story, that is just the prompt reworderd, but then if you have the audacity to ask it to reword it, but make it so the person enjoyed the experience, you may as well have asked whats the best way to murder an orphanage full of children...

TBF, I did get a reasonably good story out of another site that made like a PowerPoint show about it - But it seemed to swing it that it benifited the person, by making them face their fears and after doing it, they felt they could do anything etc...
