AI Porn - Greater impact on the adult industry in the 2020's than free tubes in the 00's
 

Do you think that AI generated porn pics and videos will ultimately have a bigger impact upon the adult industry over the next decade than free tube sites did from around 2007? Yes or no?

I hope so.

- it can make game production cheaper (and many illustraors may lose their job)
- it can make NPC a bit smarter but also more inpredictable
- we are close to make fantasy procedurally
- next steps are:

- real time video production
- bigger resolution
- solving of the copyright mess (our societies become too conservative)
- end of censorship

I think the people who worry about AI's impact on adult content don't actually know how to sell porn or why people pay for it. :2 cents:

Well you're going to see an increase of lawsuits from people claiming that the AI generated video/picture looks just like them and they never gave permission for the likeness to be used.

Second - there is still a fine line between the brain knowing it's AI vs. real. There will always be a market for real models - real orgasms and real quirks. Perfection in porn images/videos of body figures will be matched with the diversity and blemishes in body and personality of real models. Hard to duplicate and with that a surge in retro porn may happen where AI is not welcome.

This may be a bad example - but when plastic surgery allowed women to have bigger breasts - those who didn't get it or other changes done felt 2nd best or lacking. Now - I hear more and more of give me real boobs not fake ones - which may just happen with AI as well.

This is why I hope so.
