How long you Been in Porn ?
I'll go first. Since 1999 my first site was with adultcheck.com and it was called Pussypenetration.com Banking like 1999 :1orglaugh

Wow, 1999? That's impressive, and you've definitely earned my respect! It's amazing to see how long some people have been in the industry and the experiences they've had along the way.
As for me, I got into the adult biz back in 2007, but it took me quite a few years to eventually start theporndude.com. It's been a wild ride, and I'm grateful for all the lessons I've learned along the way. It's always inspiring to hear the stories of others in the industry who have paved the way. Cheers to many more years in the biz! |

Born into it!
My Dad shot & sold 8mm stag loops on cini film. People were always knocking the door at all hours, and furtively stuffing money into dads hands. He made so much money from it, he had to find a way to explain it, so he opened a laundrette / laundromat which was a cash buisness to cover the influx in money. Video came along and I earnt pocket money putting 12 blank tapes into machines and then hitting record on them and play on the master - No monitor was involved, so I never saw the tapes, but I knew what was going on... By the time I was 16 (Legal Age in the UK) I was well aware of the score and was helping out with the sales etc, but just after my 18th birthday, I decided to go it alone and began shooting my own movies, on VHS, and duplicating on Dads equipment. I made sales via newspaper adverts and a mailing list. Monety was good - I bought my own house & equipment. A few years later, internet arrived, and I was advertising my VHS tapes online. Then the penny dropped... And I was off to the races! Moved to the USA in late 99 early 2000 with my then wife (an award winning pornstar) and we were laughing - Retired fully from shooting in 2013 set for life! Then i decided to spend all my money on food, and i spent the lot which is why i am a fat fuck what cunt a4d nuffin... :( |
Since 1999 but all that time till now was just side hustle as an adult webmaster. Now I think it will be more full time work ;)
|
i think for me it was in 2009. started with one porn blog and now there are tubes.
|
Since 2007 I think. Made a bunch of blogs.
|
Since 2003...
|
I actually learned how to sell porn by finding GFY, so my join date is basically when I started registering some domains and building some affiliate sites.

1989 or 1990ish were my first freelance writer sales to publishers like LFP.
I went on to do freelance editing, writing, and photography for Hustler, Playboy, Penthouse, AVN, Magna, Crescent, all the big adult publishing house. I founded Blue Blood Magazine, the print publication of counterculture erotica in 1992. Blue Blood inspired all the early goth sites and, after coming across a membership site which was largely just pages scanned from my magazine, I decided to toss up GothicSluts.com with some of my own work which had not found a magazine fit yet. Having one of the earliest banner exchange systems and publication sites online already, it had targeted traffic from the start. I didn't even bother to finish filling out the payment paperwork for a while. When I got that first online adult check, I was stunned. Eventually found that a revshare affiliate program was a big plus and SpookyCash.com became a lot of what I did for years. As a GFY Hall of Famer and AltStar Hall of Famer, I think one is supposed to retire once those are the awards, but I can't imagine anything less fun for me than being retired. Come somewhat full circle to magazines in recent years. If anyone reading this knows anyone looking to sell cool magazine titles (adult or non-adult) or a Vegas-based print shop, I'm interested in acquisitions. Sheesh, I'm barely awake and I could have just written 1989. ❤️ GFY. |
Since 2001 :)

October 1998 - IA2000 in Orlando

I took and sold my first smutty photo in the early 1950s when I was still a teenager. The 1960s were a whirlwind adventure for me that took place on both sides of the Atlantic. I sold smut, sold pussy, sold drugs, shook down men for money and got arrested a few times. Ended up in jail for a little while too.
In the 1970s I met Claudine Beccarie and she introduced me to Lasse Braun. That pretty much was when I stopped playing around and got somewhat serious about smut. So, depending on your point of view, I can say that I've been in porn between 50 to 70 years |

Since 1998 here, using services like AdultCheck, Python, and Ultravid. I remember taken the checks to the bank and then one day the checks moved from $xx, to $xxx, to $xxxx. It was so exciting. My first show was Cybernext in Montreal, 2003.

Since 2004.
We began in live cam, after a few months, in 2005, began shooting porn & updating the content to our own website adult-excitement.co.uk. Successful (making an income), we created further paysites, one, shooting other models, southerncumsluts.com (this site still live) as my feeder site arsewithclass.com.. if anyone wants to know more about my life... you can read all my stats, facts & life story here amazing to read so many people started in 1998, the year me and my partner got together, if we didnīt, neither of us would probably have gone into the porn business. What a cool year :thumbsup |

First site - 2005 year in WML language. It was WAP :pimp Create with Sony Ericsson Z600 mobile phone with resolution, 128 x 160 pixels :1orglaugh (Hello old school) :winkwink:
The first acquaintance with adult business in the "big Internet" August 2006. I finally came to the adult 03/15/2007 I don't regret at all I love porn :jerkoff |
The first thing I did when I got internet in 1997 was to build (mainstream)websites..
It was just for fun at first, then I started to put ads on them, but I don't think any of the sponsors actually paid. It was probably not until 1998 when I read an article on adult webmaster programs that I started to build lots of different freesites and galleries etc I was sadly too lazy and dumb to make huge money ( I only worked like 4 hours a week), but $5k a month for a child was pretty good I guess xD |
Can't imagine i'm on my 17th year in the industry this July.
|
This my 3 years in this industry with no funds
Due to lack of good mentor |
Since the early 90s. I started with a BBS. Then moved to "free hosting" to submit galleries before building my own sites. Somewhere I still have a t-shirt from Smuthound. And, it still fits.
|
Twenty-five years? I had a solo girl site in 1997 or 1998 or so... Recruited the model, shot the content, built a site, marketing it using my own network of sites and a handful of affiliates through CCBill.... I did all of this while working full time and attending college full time.
I'll never forget.... I had to fax a twenty-five page contract or whatever to CCBill using my the fax machine at work. |
1999 here
|
About 15 years I think
|
In 2002 I noticed on al4a that certain names posted certain types of the same kind of content. Genre and company wise with the same affiliate IDs. I began signing up as well and posting my own galleries.
By 2004 solo models were Queen and barely legal was big. So I created similar domains to theirs and watermarked those on their photos and spammed Usenet newsgroups with them. Money! Over time I did the same idea with SEO. Eventually I got a lot of my sites to be #1 in Google and the trademarks owners began to ask for them. Luckily it was a polite exchange and I sold the domains to them. Gone are the days of blog comment spam. |
