is there any picture quality difference in expensive TV's?
If you buy a $600 65 inch tv or a $1,200 65 inch samsung TV.. Are the picture qualities the same ?

Short answer is no. The more expensive one will almost always be a better picture.
Long answer. Not an enormous difference, but it would be better - Likewise the overall experience will be better with a higher end TV from the build quality, the features and the sound. I personally go for mid range TVs. I wouldn't buy an LCD screen these days, because better is available, for not much more money - You dont need to get the latest OLEDs but QNED is extremely good and a lot less money. |
Do what I do: Stick to your budget.
TV's drop in price really quickly, like alot of other tech. If you spend $4000 for the latest and greatest today, it will cost have that price in less than a year. I am comfortable spending $1400 - $2000 for a TV because I know I will keep that TV for at least 8 years. The $2000 I spent for my 4K TV in my home theatre is still nice and I am still happy with the picture and performance. I will eventuall upgrade to a laser projector someday but I'm in rush, especially since they cost about $6000. |
Yes there is a difference the best value is the buy mid range
