Thoughts on weed sites? Cannabis, THC, CBD, programs, sponsors, white labels?

What are your thoughts on weed sites? I grew a Bonsai weed plant and documented on Insta a couple of years ago. @BonsHigh
At that time I wasn’t interested in monetizing. But now I’d like to do it again, this time with full sponsorship and links to weed lifestyle sites.

What are some good converting programs? Does it work like that for weed? Or is it all white label?

Well, if you have no license to sell real cannabis, the best products to promote are seeds, of course.
Most seed companies pay 35% per order.
Or more if you perform well.

There are so many seed companies who operate since decades from NL like Sensi Seeds, for example.
And yes, they pay their partners and affiliates....
A big part of the grow ops related to the seed business moved to Spain, because of the sunny conditions and outsourced farms.
If not from NL, Canada or US, a good chunk of these seed companies operate from Spain nowadays.

Sure you also can promote some solid head shops who sell seeds from 100´s of seed companies.
Maybe better than promoting just one seed bank.

If european countries would legalize soon, a huge market could open up, even for high tech grow cabinets worth a few thousands, you could make real money then with any product related to hemp, dude!

For now, if you have a "weed site", I guess promo for a cannabis seed company or head shop goes hand in hand or not??

Good luck :thumbsup

I've heard its even more competitive than adult.

it looks like there's tons of affiliate programs though. if you can get traffic i'm sure you can find a good way to monetize it.

Thanks. Even more competitive? I can dig that. :)

I've got a brick and mortar grow shop in NY. You still doing the bonsai?

My big sellers are seeds, clones, LED lights and bags of soil.

Yep, started a new grow this year. The idea is to use the growing/training videos to send to the programs. I might try saving the bonsai skeletons and sell them as art. The first heart from the original BonsHigh grow is in a shadow box and looks really.... sellable.

Have you got an online site to link to? Always interested in new strands from different parts of the country. And curios as to what brand of soil is your best seller:thumbsup

That's in the works. Trying to build a larger seed collection before doing so. I've got the website and brand built out, just trying to stock up. I do have a guy who crosses a lot of the currently popular strains and those are currently selling out of the shop quite well. Trop Cherry is my favorite, so I've got that crossed with a bunch of stuff too.

My best-selling soil is Fox Farm Ocean Forest, I'm guessing because that's what a lot of the "learn to grow" websites recommend. I like to mix them with FF Happy Frog. They're good for folks who don't want to stress out over caring for their plants. Put them in a big enough pot, with plenty of Ocean Forest and you can get close to harvest without needing a lot of extra nutrients.

HP Pro Mix is a favorite of folks who've grown for years.

Coast of Maine Stonington Blend is another made specifically for cannabis and can carry a plant from start to finish.

That was a fun night for sure. I've been alright. The mainstream movie strikes are what brought me here the first time, and now, this time around as well.

Thanks fore taking the time to reply! I have been playing around with the FF brands and have to admit, they really are a low maintenance grow for sure. Their organic line of nutes are very kynd as well :thumbsup I have been using Pro for many years with excellent results.
I just found a sealed container of some seeds that ive had for over 25 years! So looking forward to seeing what comes out of the ground. I am certain these came from South America bulk, so there should be some original genetics...we will see. Best of luck getting the site up and running!
