BT to replace people with AI
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...elligence.html
BT is the firm that runs most of the UK telecommunications. It is interesting that we are in 2023 and now already jobs are being turned to AI. It makes you think if this is now, then how many jobs will be turned to AI soon. |

Hmm. Hey! How do you embed videos? That’s a video called “humans need not apply” it’s about how y’all humans are fucked.

It begs the question: if AI replaces a huge segment of the general workforce (as predicted in that video) who will have money to purchase what those companies are selling? |
More time to love and to play, people . . .

To be fair, it sounds like a good idea. Lets hope others follow suit. I had to get a landlords property insurance quote the other day - What a fuck about.
People from india who I could barely understand, basically lying to me (Example) If I dont renew and the house burns down the following day, after my policy has ended, kindly dont worry Sir, as we have a duty of care and would still honour it' !!! To young English guys, so full of how much they know about insurance (which is true) but assuming you know nothing about it (which is false) He was trying to tell me that as my insurance expires on 'The 24th' then they will start the new policy on the 25th, (and I quote him virtually verbatim, as it stuck in my craw) 'So as not to 'Overlap' policies, which Sir, is a technical term for not having two policies running at the same time, even if it is for only 24hours'... So if I look up the 'technical term' - 'Overlap' in the dictionary, that's what it will say is it? Ermmm No... Pointed out that if he starts it on the 25th, then I WONT be covered on the 24, because on the 24th it has RUN OUT... OK, there is a grey area, as to does 'run out' on the 24th' mean it finishes that day at midnight, or does it mean it finished at midnight on the 23rd and as such, on the 24th, has 'run out'? Well, you can cast any ambiguous aspersions aside, as the conversation was clearly prefaced with me stating, 'I need it to start on the 24th, as thats when its run out' - Pretty clear, yes? Not to him... Sigh... The Roll out of AI cant come fast enough if you ask me... :2 cents: |
If only we could get rid of BT scum too. And 'estate agents' next. just saying that gives me a hardon

It's a bit of a double edged sword, eh? Do we usher in and support the technology that could kill us all? Or do we embrace it and adapt? Sadly, I think it's inherent that we adapt. I say sadly, because adaptation takes a lot of effort. We're human, we're survivors. |

The correct way is {youtube}video_id{/youtube} replace the {} brackets with [] brackets |
Fast food restaurants like McDonalds are already making plans to do the same.

8 billion people on this planet. WTF we do in years to come when automation has took away a massive chunk of the workforce requirements. How are people gonna get money?. Does that mean we will no longer have the divide of the super rich to the poor and money gets spread more equal?. Will automation help the really poor countries like Africa to speed up its development and make it a better place for people who live there?
Lets be honest though. The first question most people are thinking is when can i get a super model looking robot to suck my cock all day long? |

Scifi has taught us what to do. Give AI rights, amenitites it needs to pay for and tax it like you do humans and that'll even out the pay grade.
