1950's cig add
|
That carried well into the 60s when I was growing up. It was hard watching a TV special or late night show without seeing someone smoking a cigarette or a commercial. In a plane you could smoke - doctors office etc. You can tell the age of the plane when you see the ash trays screwed down LOL.
So it was a shock to me growing up watching things change to non-smoking even in restaurants. Oh well - life moes on. |
1970s ad for a lovely 14k gold small screwdriver, dessert spoon and shaving kit set, with complimentary ink well:

I remember the cool ass Newport and Marlboro commercials in the 80's with cowboys and neon sunglasses. I remember getting sent to the store for packs of Newports for my mom and getting to keep the free neon orange and green sunglasses and a fanny pack that came with them...

If you listen online to old The Abbott and Costello Show (radio program) shows (they are funny) you hear the radio adverts for this brand.
As an advert you do remember T for throat. The downside is you do not remember the brand. |
Was there supposed to be a picture in OP's first post?
Won't load here |

& Don't forget 'The Flintstones' They helped ease me into starting smoking all those years ago,... When my first puffs made me cough & hurt my throat, I just thought of Fred & Barney and pushed through it - Thanks guys :thumbsup |
