Seeking Your Feedback on Minutecams.com - A New Solution to Random Chat Platforms

I've been working on a new site called Minutecams.com and I could really use your feedback. It's designed to give you a different experience from random chat platforms like Omegle or Chatroulette, where you can actually choose and book a specific girl's time whenever you want.

I'd love to hear your thoughts:

Does this site solve the problems you've faced with the randomness on platforms like Omegle or Chatroulette?

You will find most people will leave as they will not sign up to a site they have no idea what it is about and why they need to sign up

Also not sure what the point of asking if you are male or female is, as that page seems pointless.

But when you are in, the site looks nice. Not sure I like the colours but the design looks nice.

Very impressed how quick the pics of the people pop up, as I have not seen a site where pics pop up that quickly before.

But the main problem is I have no real idea what the site is and why I need to book a model.

For a cam site I would suggest you are best to show who is online at that moment, rather than booking them.

The point of asking the gender is that you can be a man booking a girl or a girl who wants to earn money by having a 1:1 call with a man :)
The whole concept is not to have another webcam site with girls which are already available. The site is about booking time for a specific time slot - the one suits you best.

If it was me, the front page would have pics of all the models available, and let people sort by new, recent logged on, by country and so on.

but the big problem is you need to go on the site and know ot is a webcam site as it is not clear

your customer is already on line

they are in the mood to chat at that moment not tomorrow or a certain time

your danger is they just move onto another webcam site and start spending as they are in a mood that moment

i think you may have overthought this and not questioned why other sites are not booking models

in fact what you are offering is what a lot of early webcam sites did

you are best have live because the person is in the mood at that point in time

By the way when you see the times, are they for the my country?

I mean if I book 5pm, is that 5pm UK time and if I am in say Japan, is it 5pm Japan time?

When you try to book a model the colander only shows the day of the week, not the month nor the day.

So if i want to book her 23 June i have to guess i have selected the correct week

i wonder what the rate will be with people who work out that they can go to the credit card company after and request a refund saying they did not believe they got the service they expected

It will be handled by having "tokens" or "minutes" on hold. When both sides decided it's been a worthy show then the site would unlock the money, otherwise money could be refunded by creating a ticket

One option to consider is a chat only option. so people can chat but no cam (like a chat line)

It is a suggestion as I suspect some people may prefer a chat

The same security system chaturbate has already. The site will have screenshots of the video based on which can determine if sth gone wrong. Additionally, there will be a system for reporting suspicious behavior which we will respond to.

again i would have the models as a thumbnail rather than a list as you have, as it may not be fair to the models at the bottom of the page

personally i would have a separate page for each model

I thought about the approach you mentioned but I wanted to have as few steps to book a call as possible

as i say i would set it out the same way as chatubate and have the option to search by age, sex, country, and so on

give each model a page

a few screengrabs and an intro vid so people can see what they will be getting

possibly a section for people to post reviews on the models page

so checked out your site and have a few thoughts...gonna go through them below

1) there are quite a few long term established sites already out there like yours so def not a new concept, but if you bring new clients to the table def an added value to the industry


2) a bit confused about your sign up process....is it for performers or clients or both? none of the book now red buttons work on my browser, only the yellow one at the bottom, which takes me to a sign up page where you upload a selfie fan sign pic

NO client is gonna want to do that. for cammers, we're used to it so no biggie, but the full name thing is highly problematic. usually it's cam name plus date and site URL. would suggest saving the ID verification for the uploaded docs post sign-up, or ID scan plus holding ID. but a fan sign on the first stage of the sign up process with a full real name? nope nope nope


2a) what are the terms for performers if that link is indeed for performer sign ups? as in payout methods, percentage, payout schedule, site currency, are cb's covered, etc


2b) what's the company name and where is it located? this is important info for both clients and cammers. assuming you accept cc's, what shows up as name on their cc statement?


3) not logged in I can't see a single profile except for the 5 on the home page. are there more performers? does one have to log in to view them? again, a bit problematic if so. think like a client, don't make them jump through hoops to find out if the site is worth signing up for


4) def do a combo 'available now' plus bookings for later. I have quite a few regs who'll contact me like "hey you gonna be around tomorrow night/in 3 hours/etc" but new clients tend to want to get off now. no ability for cammers to log in and be seen as available for immediate bookings will leave a lot of money on the table


5) def need a 2257 page, privacy page, TOS page
