i havent seen anything bad enough to be sorry , unless you count random bands at bars i have seen a ton of shit ones like that.

fuzebox 06-08-2023 08:28 AM

Soundgarden or Audioslave. RIP Chris Cornell :(

Rochard 06-08-2023 08:55 AM

Queen with Freddy Mercury.

My favorite band is Journey. I saw them a number of times with Steve Perry when I was much younger. I've seen them twice now with the new guy Arnel Pineda. It's fun when you are older and can afford the best seats. Much to my surprise Journey came to my hometown last month and we had second row tickets. Arnel Pineda gave me a fist bump.

J. Falcon 06-08-2023 09:08 AM

Beastie Boys, Massive Attack and Pink Floyd.

Evil Chris 06-08-2023 01:43 PM

Tasty1 06-08-2023 02:31 PM

Elvis, Queen, Abba, Jimmie Hendrix, Bob Marley, The Beatles, The Doors, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd.

Last concert i saw, before they propably stop, was Pet Shop Boys. Still good.
Looks like the oldies are making their last tours nowadays and cash in some pensions.
You can see a lot of artist now that will be gone in a decade.

JesseQuinn 06-08-2023 07:08 PM

not 'bands' but def Tupac and Mobb Deep top my list

todservices 06-08-2023 08:44 PM

when I was younger, my dream was to see the doors.
I saw them in 2007 then 2010.
Manzarek and Krieger. good enough for me.

Look Chang 06-08-2023 09:51 PM

When I was young, I was fan of two bands; The Doors and The Beatles but I never saw them on stage. :(

Exactly the same, The Doors and the Beatles. I saw the Stones, they sucked, bad PA, Pink Floyd, they were like statues, but the music was great. Iggy and the Stooges, but they didn't even finish their first song before Iggy went nuts. Now that I remember, I would have liked to see the Beach Boys during their Pet Sounds days.

notinmybackyard 06-09-2023 08:03 AM

In the 50s I had a chance to see The Everly Brothers and in the 60s I had a chance to see The Doors before they signed a deal.

I saw them in '94. great show. was SO not a fan of The Division Bell but they played a lot of their classics I knew by heart from singing with my dad in the car as he drove me to school so concert saved! I just wanted to see Floyd live, they coulda sung campfire tunes and I still woulda loved it

Spunky 06-10-2023 09:55 PM

I have seen Aerosmith and AC/DC as backup just as they starting out in the 70s. I'd like to see that again. Led Zep, Jimmy Hendriks, Elvis, and so many wishes

I saw Soundgarden warm up for (I think) Voivod before I (or most anyone else) had really heard of them. As I recall, I'd come for an earlier warm up, but missed them. Soundgarden was so good that the other bands pale.

Unbelievably good live show. One of those rare moments you can feel music history in the making.

Very cool. Did you see Aerosmith and AC/DC in small venues or as stadium warm up acts? I think in the 80's, Aerosmith was the best arena show in music, with AC/DC being a contender for the number two spot with the cannons.

bohous 06-15-2023 11:34 AM

Johnny Cash and the Clash

Just saw Scorpions, the singer is 75, don't think there will be many more chances. Hence I went. They are still brilliant though.

INever 07-07-2023 06:19 AM

Had tickets in the '00s to see Bowie playing at the local high school auditorium.

Like an idiot, I sold them.

2MuchMark 07-07-2023 06:55 AM

I wish I would have seen AC/DC, David Bowie, The Clash and of course Led Zep’. I have seen a hundred bands Live but missed these greats..

Tasty1 07-07-2023 10:26 AM

Who went to Live Aid or Woodstock?
That must have been the best concerts.

amacontent 07-07-2023 10:30 AM

Ya know. I had tickets in 2020 to see Rammstein in Berlin, But cancelled 2 years in a row due to pandemic. Not my bucket list but woulda loved that.

I had tickets too, but held on to them.... they finally played Montreal last summer, and holy shit they did not disapoint. I was right in front too - it was their best show ever.

The Porn Nerd 07-07-2023 12:04 PM

Top Ten:

The Who (with Keith Moon 1970 tour)
Bob Dylan Rolling Thunder tour (1976)
Led Zeppelin (with John Bonham 1973 tour)
The Grateful Dead (with Jerry Garcia and Pig Pen 1972 tour)
Bruce Springsteen (with the E Street Band 1978 tour)
AC/DC (with Bon Scott 1978 tour)
The Rolling Stones (with Mick Taylor 1972 tour)
Jethro Tull (with Martin Barre 1972 tour)
KISS (1976 tour)*
Woodstock 1969 (I mean, c'mon just to be there!)

* I saw their 1996 reunion tour which was basically a re-creation of their infamout 1976 show so it was the next best thing.

I was looking out the kitchen window....LOL......

On the 30th there will be a Depeche Mode concert.....I have already seen/heard Ozzy Osbourne, Rolling Stones, Metallica, AC/DC with Axl Rose in front of my house :-)))....by the way, I am from Prague, Czech Republic.
