Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is excellent

No spoilers. Go see it. If you liked the first one you will love this one. Very, very well done.

Did you like it?

I usually don't care much for animated movies anymore but I liked first one enough to watch it twice. I wasn't planning to see this one in the theatre but really glad I did. The animation is beautiful, and the sound mix is the best I've heard in a long time too. I wonder though if they should have an Epilepsy warning before entering the theatre because I'm sure some of the best scenes are bound to induce siezures in some.

I will probably go see it again.

Oops! Looks like I was right...wow.

There was a solid 10-15 minutes of this movie I straight up could not watch.

I'm lucky and glad I am in good health. I would hate the idea of knowing that a movie could throw me into a fit.

It is probably the most hyper-glitchy saturated movie I've ever seen. Loved it.

I was going to take my son to see that at IMAX 3D but I ended up buying tickets for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which was also in 3d. My kid's mind was fucking blown. Awesome movie.

I had no plans to see Transformers, but I heard that this one is good so I may check it out. I loved the first one, and "Dark of the Moon" was pretty good too, but I didn't care for the rest.

I did not see it yet. Boneprone was giving me spoilers and sports bets.

I used to a big movie fan...but stopped watching after the crazy woke propaganda started. Don't need lessons from a bunch of Hollywood weirdos and pedos.

brassmonkey 06-20-2023 01:02 AM

i liked it. i don't like toons though... i miss the old writers and directors of the 70s - 2000 that is where the real movies are. over two hours of action, thriller, horror, sci fi! i went back and found sum good stuff.

2MuchMark 06-20-2023 07:02 AM

Since this movie was both a cartoon and made by Sony, I didn't think it would contain a certain key ingredient, but it did... no spoilers, but it made me happy.

On a related note:
- Ant-Man: Quantumania was terrible. I loved the first one, but 2 & 3 were boring and zero fun.

- Guaradians of the Galaxy 3 was pretty good.

- All of the MCU movies in Phase 1,2 and 3, except for Black Panther and Ant-Man and the Wasp, were excellent.

- Phase 4 / Multiverse Saga, Goog movies: Shang-Chi, Spiderman No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Black Panther Wakanda Forever: Bad movies: Eternals (Boring!). Thor: Love & Thunder (Awful). Black Widow (Forgetable).

I'm not going to watch the movie. Not a fan of these. But a friend had the soundtrack playing in the car while we were cruising around last night. Amazing soundtrack. Metro Boomin always been a musical genius, but Jesus fuck:

Never thought I'd like a spider man soundtrack 🤣 maybe I should take the kids to see this 🤔
