Paxum request. What is this about???
I just got this email after using my car on my trip to Germany. Has anybody experienced anything like this?
We recently detected that your prepaid card was used outside of your home jurisdiction. Would you kindly answer the following questions for your security: Are you currently travelling? If Yes, indicate the country. (If you are travelling, please answer questions below) Is your travel business or personal? If related to business, please explain. Are you expecting to make any more payments using your card while travelling? If you are travelling, do you expect to return to your home jurisdiction within the next 4 weeks? If no, please provide your anticipated date of return. All responses must be received within two business days in order to maintain the good standing of your account. Thank you for your cooperation. I received the same email. It's probably just the standard procedure, but it is a bit weird.

Just wonder if I will have to reply to such a request every time I use the card abroad. I travel a lot. :-)) |
They should only ask if its been you using the card in a new country, nothing else, as its NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS!!!

Paxum, like all other service providers, identify "You" as being a "card number + an IP address + Cookies + a Device + Location Data + Spending Habbits", etc. When this data changes, such as new Geo location data for example, an alert is triggered and a score is applied. If the score is below a certain threshold, your card still works but you are notified like you were above. If your score exceeds a certain amount, your purchases could be limited or even halted until the service provider verifies that you are still you, and not some thief. Quote:

>use your Paxum card >get email from Paxum that you have to provide response within two business days >provide answers for questionnaire >wait few days that they check >support asks you to provide more evidence that you are really in another country >account suspended temporarily >send photo from flight ticket as evidence >wait few days that they check >the photo was too blurry >send new one >wait few days more >the photo accepted, but need more evidence >you are required to stand beside some know monument in that country with your passport beside your face while holding your dick with other hand and smile for camera >wait few days more that they check >the photo was too blurry >send new one >wait few days more >stress to fight with Paxum whole holiday that they do not close your account Holiday is now over, what a great restful stress free holiday that was :1orglaugh >now you are back to your home >because last photo you send, was not accepted cause the monument was not known enough for them, Paxum still requires you to send photo where you stand beside some know monument in that country with your passport beside your face while holding your dick with other hand and smile for camera >try to explain that several days has passed that you are in country of your origin now >account closed cause you did not provide enough proof This is all for your own safety that your funds are safe with us. Thank you for your cooperation. Kind Regards, Accounts Team Paxum.com - A Paxum Bank Limited Brand |

lol, I will never order a paxum card again anyway. |
I cut my Paxum card in pieces and closed my account years ago because those guys were crazy. I have a quiet and happy life since then. :2 cents:
|
Not a Paxum fan, never used it and never will... But most of my banks do this too and I appreciate it.
