S class

S Class is the king of the road.
If you have money, drive S Class.
You will probably get attacked by slave owners, because it is their afftribute.
If you survive, start sharing folk wisdom.

Rochard 07-27-2023 10:09 AM

I will be sticking with my Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's coming to the end of it's life and I will be replacing it with another Jeep Grand Cherokee.

BAKO 07-27-2023 10:11 AM

I'm rocking a 1993 Plymouth Voyager minivan 5 speed right meow, drove the balls off it for 3 years now and it hasn't let me down, cost me nothing more than oil and gas. Paid $500 and I had to change the headgasket by loosening the head and lifting it an inch to slide a new gasket under. Was amazing, took like 20 minutes, still holds but the gasket leaks for about a minute when you start the van on a hot afternoon.

The Supra I bought with porn money was crazy, too bad I let my friend from high school drive it and he crashed it 4 hours later! It never ran right again and my broker sold it to a crazy guy who crashed it right after he bought it, haha.

Nothing weird about it. They sell some exotics for higher prices, while S CLASS remains the KING OF THE ROAD.

No need to take my word, you can do your own research.

Minte 07-29-2023 03:28 PM

I am on my second S class. I had an S550 4matic for nearly 8 years. Put about 50,000 miles on it. I traded it in for a 2023 S500 last December. It's a dead ringer for the picture posted at the start of this thread. Mine is built on the AMG line, but it's not really an AMG. It only looks like it. I didn't order this car. It was the only new S that they had in stock. So far, my impression of the car is good. However, the car has a lot more gadgets than I'll ever use.

Is it black on black? If not, then this is not serious and therefore not the attribute of slave owners.

Ok
You are the king of the road

DBS.US 07-31-2023 08:05 PM

I live to a island with no cars. I do have a nice golf cart.

curlydoggo 08-03-2023 08:26 AM

I drive a vehicle that costs around 1 million euros every day. It’s called metro. I spare time and energy on not having to navigate through busy streets and looking for a parking spot. Downsides: fellow passengers sometimes smell.

When the sunroof of my in-law's GLA 250 Mercedes shattered, it was over $4,000 just to replace the glass...

Retiree 08-04-2023 01:30 AM

S-class died with the last version W222. The new one is a joke...cheap $50 screen and a tablet worth $100 being the only interior? And it looks horrible, too.

jamezon 08-04-2023 12:36 PM

i drive a mitsubishi from 1999, it has a cigarette lighter and an ashtree..also i can ignore the seat belt without getting educated . i hate to get educated by those fucking new cars . im 50 , i could afford an s-class but i hate german cars (im german) . as long its possible for me to obtain sex without paying for it, i keep my mitsubishi

I love my 1993 Plymouth Voyager 5 speed

Older cars are awesome, it hasn't cost me a dime in 3 years of beating the ever living shit out of it. All I have to do is top up the radiator with plain water, put cheap 10w-30 oil in it, and gas. Never lets me down!

Also, when driving up country on the mountain roads, you can be flooring it and having fun and taking corners fast, driving the minivan 9/10 and you're not really breaking any laws and it is a ton of fun to throw into corners. Modern cars are so fast that you can't even push them 5/10 without breaking so many laws and be doing twice the limit without even flooring it!

My buddy bought a used 5 or 7 series, I forget which, years back, and he had the remote trunk-opening option on it, which used hydraulics to power open the trunk. Well, the hydraulics leaked and the fluid got into the battery(?) compartment or whatever, and it also held some other electronics apparently and fried them. Just to fix that was thousands and thousands of dollars, lol. He had traded in his old M5 for it after spending $14,000 replacing the SMG transmission with another transmission that was twice as rough shifting.

Probably my favourite car I owned was my Year 2000 Honda S2000... that was a great car!

GLA is not the king of the road.
S Class is the King of the Road.
