Fuck Pornhub! - They are impersonating my sites on google and abusing trademark

Pornhub has gone back to being a criminal enterprise

not that they ever stopped

I removed all of my content from their platform about 6 months ago.

I was just tired of their shit, and their traffic isn't worth whoring out my content for.

https://www.google.com/search?q=nebraska+coeds+pornhub

They've made every conceivable landing page to impersonate my works titles, and just plugging in generic content

I've contacted Jen at ph twice on this subject, and her last reply was that she was willing to ban the term 'nebraskacoeds'

But that ban didn't stop Pornhub from acting just down right criminal against me.

Has anyone else removed their content from any of the tube sites?

Any other similar experiences?

not intentionally defending them, but this is from UGC behavior

people are searching your keywords on pornhub, pornhub's algorithms pick that up and puts those keywords into their "related searches" fields (which google finds), and the generic content ends up in the results for those keywords because nothing else matches so they show the closest matches they can find.

you've also got the issue that "nebraska coeds" is arguably a "generic" query. "nebraskacoeds" as one word is clearly your content, but as two words.....there's legitimate content not owned by you that matches those keywords.

you're getting fucked because of bad luck in choosing your brand name. pornhub didn't put any effort into specifically fucking you over like this, its just bad luck with your brand name and how the algorithms work.

life sucks sometimes.

This. In this particular case it's not malicious - they could block "nebraska coeds" but you'd still have tons of other keyword combinations. It also makes little difference since someone searching 'nebraska coeds pornhub' is clearly looking to get to pornhub not your site.

That remind to me one model which complained about google/bing searches so i had mansplain her how things work there :1orglaugh

So in shortly, if you had content on some site and you removed it, it can take up to 6 months to reflects changes in google/bing.

Have you some legal use over the words 'Nebraska' 'Coed' 'Porn' 'Videos'?

If so was it expensive to get these rights?

If not, then presumably anyone could use the term in a blog or anything.

Perhaps I am breaking your made up law now by posting this:

Nebraska Coed Porn Videos
Nebraska Coed Porn Videos
Nebraska Coed Porn Videos
Nebraska Coed Porn Videos

I totally understand this.

I'm not arguing any legal point of view on this. I have a great lawyer that will look at this situation.

MY ISSUE IS WITH PH AS A PAST PARTNER

They were NEVER partners to ANY of us.

Pornhub is always going to act criminally

and it sucks that many/most of us gave them any content, instead of attacking them from the start and snuffing them out (along with all the other criminally acting tubes)

I just want to burst any assumptions that any other producers might have about having rights to have their content removed/DMCA removed from tube sites... the sites will still claw any and all traffic they can away from you.

More of a rant, and a alert

It's been about 6 months,

and most of these landing pages were indexed by google in the last 30 days.

anyway, I just wanted to rant.

NoWhErE 09-15-2023 04:02 AM

Imo, You should take their offer to ban the word “nebraskacoeds” and even push for “nevraska coeds”. They might agree and that would kill most of the serp results they have for your name.

I have just found porn hub uses the word porn and British on some of its pages.

how dare they as my made up law now claims only I should have the right to the word porn and British.

DVTimes 09-15-2023 05:46 AM

I just looked and found some state in the USA is using your made up copyrighted word and have dared to call themselves Nebraska.

I presume your top legal people will be sending them a letter to stop and force all the businesses and schools to remove Nebraska from any names and definitions as clearly you have sole right to the name.

DVTimes 09-15-2023 05:53 AM

https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dic...y/english/coed

I hope you're lawyers will be contacting all the dictionaries' to inform them that you have the exclusive right to the word coed and all variants and that you invented the word.

I also note that people have long before the internet talked about Nebraska Coeds but they were wrong to do so as apparently you have the legal right over who uses these words.

I hope that you punish pornhub as the 2 searches a year on google for the term Nebraska Coed is clearly going to affect the few sales you get each year.

Well the thing is that while many years ago these tube sites uploaded stolen content themselves to gain traction, it actually IS user uploads that is most of hte pirated content at this point and the law works in pornhub's favor here.

I am not an attorney, and do not play one of GFY either. However I am surrounded by them, and am too old and wise enough (learn from others mistakes) to intentionally take it in the @$$.

If you havn't already, all your content should be registered with the copyright office. Therefore when you send notices out, you are on much stronger standing legally.

To the best of my knowledge the current ownership of PH is made up of attorneys, and PH parent company is likely registered in Canada. Use all of that to your advantage. Im not certain of the standard up in Canada, but US attorneys are held to a higher standard of behavior in and out of their legal practice. In California, if I recall correctly, licensed attorneys have a binding moral obligation to behave and not do wrong. They can potentially be disbarred for a variety of things: drunk driving offenses, use of narcotics, having an interest in a business which is harming people financially or legally.

And if you are a victim of PH, you are not alone. All of you victims need to get together quickly, and retain legal counsel who will guide you through the process, and file the necessary complaint. Hopefully as a class action.

Good luck!

Anyone remember this when they were hiding they owned pornhub at the beginning?

Feel free to file DMCA notices to Google and have all their URLs removed. Not sure if you have any legal ground to do so, but I guess you could try.

Keyword: "nebraska coeds pornhub" is probably too small to bother with.

But if you want to outrank those PH results, you need an SEO expert to take care of your website. If you don't know one, feel free to hit me up. But in that case, you will be the one using their trademarked keyword.

absolutely!

the search option will always be found and direct to pornhub, whether your content is removed or not...

i can´t understand why you weren´t being paid and making money from PH for your content? why leave them, tubes work well for us, monthly payouts & worth the updating...

just my :2 cents:

just my :2 cents:

Pornhub promised me a geo location block option to block my videos from latvia, where i have been filming for the past 12 years. They just keep ignoring or passing my request along until it is ignored completely. I had an addendum to my original pornhub content partner agreement stating that pornhub would provide a method of blocking any country I want to block from viewing my videos. ; That was negotiated by Paul, my first ph rep, and it was just ignored by every subsequent ph rep i was changed to.

THEN

Pornhub and xhamster both started "softly" banning any video of mine that had a girl drinking any liquid, even water from a water bottle. And they also banned smoking or vaping of any kind.

I had a 6 month decline in my opinion of pornhub. They basically hired some idiot mods to flag any old uploads with any girl drinking or smoking. But they were flagging my videos that were clean also, not only the offending clips.

None of that was a problem, until they started requiring me to provide id and contract documents for any flagged videos. I didn't have time, and I refused on the principal of only providing private information about my amateur models with some legitimate reason.

So they threatened to turn all of my flagged videos into strikes against my account.

So I just refused.

Everything was fine for a few more months, and then suddenly, they started flagging my videos again. This time none of the flags could even remotely pertain to the subjects of the videos.

They told me if I got one more strike against my account they would send me in for further account review.

I told them to either stop wasting my time filling my inbox with erroneous request, or delete my videos. A few hours later they disabled my accounts.

I disabled payouts on their affiliate accounts, they received an email from ccbill about the change on their affiliate accounts. After some angry emails with some other ph staff over my block of payouts, my main account rep, Jen, came back and said they decided not to offer my account back.

My sales jumped up, and even now, 6 months later, I am still experiencing stronger sales and rebills after pornhub and I split ways.

Maybe I was giving away much on my ph channels. I had 5,000 videos, each more than 10 minutes. My main channel was ranked 68 in the world when the account was closed. None of the stats had any sway with pornhub staff.

I will not be going back to pornhub.

OMG, dare i ask how much you were making a month? I take it at least well over 4 figures monthly...

definitely giving away too much...

even a my.club page linked to your PH would have been an amazing set up i´d have thought, so sorry to hear you´ve had so many problems, it´s just not the same for me.

Even with gloryhole, gangbangs, spunk sessions & my own selfies and stuff, I´ve just not found the problems, porn business is so toxic, so difficult but also so different for everyone, and this the story for all :upsidedow
