How Have Webmasters Adjusted To The Current LandScape Of the Industry?

I left the industry in 2013, but with the new landscape of the porn industry introducing (OF) and many models going solo, has the porn industry adjusted to it? For instance, porn was never a major presence on social media, but it's now rampant on Twitter to the point where people think Twitter is a porn site itself. They don't even visit sites like xvideos, etc like they used to.; they simply stay on Twitter, searching for porn. How have webmasters adjusted to this? I'm out of the loop on these things. Users are depending on OF and Twitter to watch porn rather than visiting an actual porn site. Has webmaster rev dropped since this or has everything remained the same?

When I was a webmaster, I heavily depended on affiliate programs to support myself, as well as selling ad spots. However, the programs that I used to use no longer exist. I still receive payments from my white label webcam site, so cams aren't that bad, but I have since shut down my main website in 2013.

tube sites are still huge, dude. similarweb ranks xvideos as the #7 most visited website in the world.

but, solo/amateur content is now dominant over professionally produced content.

models and amateur producers are using both social and tubes to promote their paid content.

AI is really going to change the tube game. You'll be able to take those crappy ass scene descriptions and make them into poetic works of art, which of course will help with SEO.

As far as Twitter goes, it's really become an extension of SEO and traffic management. Done right it can be a great resource. But like with everything it takes time.
