crawlability SEO question
Hi, I was wondering what you think about next.
If a particular page can be found inside the Google index ( cache: URL) but it is not linked from the index page of a site, will a link on that page still be valuable for SEO purposes? thanks |
You mean an orphaned page. No I don't think it will have much if any value.
|
I am unsure is an orphan. I don't think so because it is linked from the blog root, but I can't find the connection and flow from index (not even to the blog). Site is too big, I am using Screaming Frog to try to find it but it lasts for hours, and still no results
|
You can look into search console to find the page there and it will show you how to get it indexed. Normally if it's not indexed then google can't see it.
|
it is not my site. I am trying to figure out if is it worth getting a link there considering this situation.

If you have access to Majestic SEO then check the TF and CF of the page, if they are both zero then avoid. |
