I'm looking for permanent header/menu links

As the title suggests... not 3-6 months or 1 year contract.

I did this before, but when they pulled out my links, my SERP went down big time. I didn't know that within 3 to 6 months, their site indexed a lot of pages of my site, about 20k plus. So, never again am I putting my site link on a 3 to 1 year basis; it really hurts your SERP, believe me.

Permanent links are BS. Normally people sell them on 1 year basis and when they expire you just prolong for another year.

Really? Why?

What is your logic? Why do I have to pay again and again, while for a permanent option, I only pay once?

what a sucker :1orglaugh

so called "permanent links" can be gone anytime and you can't even complain. they can just tell you they don't operate/own the sites anymore and that's it, you are fucked.

anyone selling lifetime links won't be around for a 'lifetime', their site will be lucky to be around a year :2 cents:

Obviously, none of you had any idea how backlinks work, and you had zero knowledge of what SEO is. :1orglaugh Putting your links on the header menu will generate a link on every post, tag, category, and page on that site, meaning thousands of backlinks. When they remove that after 6 months or 1 year, it will surely hurt your SERP (I wonder if you three know what SERP means :1orglaugh).

How to avoid this?
1.Never place your backlink in the header menu; instead, put it on the site page.
2.Seek out reputable sites that offer permanent spots for backlinks

Why buy a header link on a site that's only 1-5 years old? Opt for sites that are 10 years old and older, with a strong reputation on Google and regularly updated content. Use your discretion when choosing where to place your header link. Keeping my link on their header for 5 to 10 years is sufficient.
