How are yall doing after the recent Google update?

I got a shirt?

Not great. The summer seemed to have me picking up traffic and trending upwards but this last one bought me back down to spring levels.

I just keep working no matter what the update. More links, better content etc. I do feel that with adult there is less control than with mainstream as Google wants to hide adult as much as they can while still not losing the adult surfers who make them money.

Do you mean the October Core Update or the Helpful Content Update in September? Seems like many niche bloggers, both mainstream and adult, were hit hard by the latter.

I love the titles Google gives their updates. Each one is another way of saying we want to get rid of spam, and each one just gives more to the top 5 copy/paste "authority" sites.

October core was pretty tame
