Get an amazon fire tablet and turn into a normal android tablet
 

I got one that came today.

The 7 inch model.

£34 or something.

Then you download a bit of software and you get an android tablet.

Ideal for google maps in your car (saves using your phone battery plus much bigger screen).

Also handy for a few others things such as word-processing, with a Bluetooth keyboard.

And if it gets pinched or broken, it only cost £30 or so pounds.

I spent £10 extra for a protective bump case and that also protects the screen.

You gave to turn on the tracking by the way.

No idea if it has gps but it knew where I was.

Downloaded maps to it so do not need to use phone as wifi thing.

Just a tip for some of you.

Why take your big expensive laptop or ipad when you can carry a cheap machine with you.

And if you need a decent camera, just plug a webcam into it.

My car has an 8 inch screen and Android Auto let's me watch football while I drive.
