Nip / Tuck

WOW What a good show this is / was...

I used to watch it all the time when it first aired, and have started binge-watching it now that it is on Amazon Prime.... it is so sick, so twisted and so FUN....

In case you never heard of it, the show is about a couple of plastic surgeons working in Miami (and later in LA), all of the nutty characters they deal with, and all the drama they bring.

It is really well written will very well defined characters. The coolest thing about the show might be its Makeup Effects. Gross and gory at times, and ultra realistic.

If you're looking for something to binge-watch, check this show out.

Speaking of plex servers.... I want to build one myself and add it to my home theatre, but to be honest I don't quiet understand how to use it or why I would want one. Can you tell me more about how you get the content? Is it ripped from your Blurays? Or do you buy the content from Plex? Is the streaming bitrate as high as your blurays, or higher than streaming boxes like Apple TV?

Thanks in advance!

Wifey and I just finished watching the season featuring the Carver, and the last episode of this story was so fucking entertaining, even though we had seen it before. The intro shows the main cast each wearing the Carver mask, which made me remember what a big deal this was for ratings when it originally aired. The actors and other creatives of the show were clearly having a good time with this. Love it!

I remember this show, but I'm not sure I've finished all the seasons. I think there are more than 14 - 15 years I've watched it. Anyway, interesting show.

I would wager that most people have Plex to easily serve torrented content :2 cents:

Is that its only use, or main use? I thought that maybe it was some kind of competitor to another streaming server which gives you very high bitrate content.... I forgot what it is called at the moment...

You can rip blue rays you can download torrents you can buy content from plex directly also.

I stream mostly 1080 sometimes 4k but I find 1080 to be fine.

Basically plex is software to stream video files you can stream your porn collection to your tv if you want to.
