MassPay.io - any reviews?

Hi there!

Recently got my first payment via MassPay.io from FYC. Just wanted to ask the people around here if the service is legit, how long does a SEPA withdraw takes etc...

Thanks.

If you received your payment into your bank via masspay as a SEPA, you can withdraw from your immediately...

if you mean you´re waiting for the payment into your bank & MassPay has paid by SEPA, usually this is immediate or can be up to 3 days to arrive into your bank, then withdraw has immediate effect like anything that´s in your bank :2 cents:

MatureKing 11-12-2023 09:05 AM

U really think it's competitor of paxum?

So far I just got money into MassPay from sponsor, haven't withdrew it yet.. I see SEPA/BTC and some alt coins as an option.. 7$ fee for SEPA, but the exchange rate for USD->EUR is pretty shitty at first look.

Adraco 11-12-2023 12:13 PM

Isn’t a European SEPA transfer B2C only allowed to cost a maximum of €1 Euro?!

I know of several companies outside of the EU who pretends like they do not know about this…

Maybe for banks, which in this case it's not.

i´m sure you can use many other forms of payment...

doesn´t look good, i´d never sign up with them :2 cents:

maybe pass all your payments over this time with a SEPA payment or direct banking, take the hit & use another payment processor.

Fee for withdrawals is fine, but they should allow withdrawing the original currency and not forcing exchange.

Paul&John 11-13-2023 01:52 AM

Yeah agree.. btw can be SEPA payment sent in USD?

In shortly, no. USD can be send only as ACH or WIRE

Paxum, paxum, paxum!

I've initiated a SEPA transfer on Nov 10th. Nothing in my account yet.

SEPA transfer fee is $7, XR was 10%

Statement doesn't show who has sent you money. There's no reporting nor generation of statements like in Paxum. You have to keep your emails.

No email when you transfer $$ to keep track of the trail of events.

Will do.

I didn't want to use MassPay but one of my sponsors sent the money there.

I don't like eWallets. You don't always know where the payment is coming from. I know a Canadian sponsor that pays with a generic email address. You may assume you're getting paid from Canada however upon checking with their support the payment for European affiliates comes from their EU branch in Cyprus and that's backed up with an invoice. If you don't ask them, you don't know.

Another north American sponsor also uses a generic email but when you change your payment method to "wire", the bank statement reveals an EU branch of theirs. Surprise.

It' not clear why sponsors don't use an email address domain name marching their company name or why sometimes the company name in Paxum doesn't match the company of the sponsor. Mind you, MassPay doesn't show a company name at all.

6 days and still nothing. To be fair it's 4 working days but still, I don't usually wait for that long especially that they claim it is SEPA (should take 1 day max).

Paul&John 11-16-2023 07:38 AM

Yap SEPA should be instant or 1 day..

drexl 11-17-2023 07:07 AM

7 days and still no news of my money. I sent them an email. Let's test their support.

feetnerd 12-06-2023 11:59 PM

they sent me money on masspay too, but i cannot withdraw them, then masspay said in an email that if you don't withdraw the money within 90 days I will have to pay a monthly fee for having money in the account, but the problem is that the website is not working, support doesn't reply and it is a very bad start for this service!

Wow, this is useful information, for everyone, also for Affiliate Programs!
On a side note, I truly hope you will receive your money!!

In case you do receive, will you keep using them?

galgo 12-07-2023 05:01 AM

Fast payment with SEPA (minutes to one day), but... High high commissions in general plus those that are hidden in the currency exchange.

Additionally, I received an email from Masspay that said:
"If there has been no activity (withdrawals) in your account during any ninety (90) calendar day period, and unless prohibited by applicable law, a fee for servicing an inactive account shall be automatically deducted from your account starting from the first day of the next calendar month and then monthly thereafter, this inactivity fee being US$9.99 per month. Inactivity fees will only be applied to accounts with an active (positive) balance. Payees will not incur a negative balance. If MassPay imposes a fee, you will be notified, as required by law, at the email address you have provided."

Very unlikely, I didn't want to use them in the first place.

Indeed, normally it takes up to a day but in my case it's been nearly a month and I have not gotten the money.

I don't know who their partner is for SEPA transfers. I'd be curious to know.

Barnaba 12-10-2023 02:35 PM

I recommend that affiliate programs do not make payments to webmasters through this system. Lying thieves who are unable to show any proof of payment/transfer in PDF format.

That means "some" transfers work. According to Trustpilot reviews there are still a significant amount of users who never see their money. There is a MassPay representative there suggesting to get in touch with support. I can tell you what happens next: they tell you they are going to investigate and after a few days they confirm that "their partner told them the money was on the way" and you never receive anything.

I lost about 20 Euros. But that's nothing different than going to an ATM with a Paxum card really... or letting PayPal handle the currency exchange when you buy in a different currency.

They all "steal" on the currency exchange...most probably a big part of their profit comes from that...

I am not saying they are good or bad, just sharing my experience. Which it was actually my very first one with them.
To be completely transparent, the transfer was to a YourSafe account.

Paypal is a major thief in the currency exchange market, you know. No one can beat their 5% FX rate :1orglaugh

Have you tried contacting the sponsor to get his money back?

I wouldn't expect anything good from a company with a 1.5 rating :(
Thanks for letting us know :thumbsup
