A certain cpa network is not going to be happy they lost their biggest affiliate.

Dunno if the owners are in trouble, if not they’ll re-open under a different name and its business as usual for them

I think you are referring to Webcam Whores in their various extensions. Recurbate was a pay site.

All the campaign tracking codes are /c/101 which is a campaign code. I'm not sure how they associate it with individual affiliate traffic !

Maybe the cam model is using their content to upload to tube sites to get more traffic to their cam page themselves?

I have seen a lot of cam models fail because they think they are supposed to get traffic to their cam page only from the cam platform.

The site is providing a valuable service for those who know how to use it.

If they didn't record and store the content, how else would you be able to get your content from years ago? Of course, if you are not popular enough to be recorded then you most likely failed as a cam model anyway.

Let's be honest, most people who call themselves "webmasters" have no clue what they are doing. Have they really "mastered the web" to make everything work to their advantage?

It is the same as using torrents, but a site like this organizes and makes it easy for the smart marketer to get the content they need of the model they are working with.

With the cost for hosting, they aren't making that much money for providing a super valuable service!

So the problem - domain name. What if I will register masturBATE.xyz? Will Chaturbate seize it?

If the site is market’s itself as a source for recorded Chaturbate shows without permission: there is a chance it will be seized

In my opinion, the case was raised due trademark violation. Only then domains are transferred to the complainant.
If the problem were only copyrighted content - domains wouldn't be transferred to CB.

It was likely the cheapest and simplest options. Ceasing a domain under the circumstances they did is relatively straight forward, especially when the chances of a criminal enterprise defending themselves via litigation and opening a can of worms is highly unlikely.

Of course, they moved to another domain, and there are no real consequences to the owners because they don't know who the owners are. Read the WIPO's decision. In the documents, the respondent (the owner) is Laura Palmer, a fictional character from the TV Show Twin Peaks. Chaturbate only managed to get a legal decision to seize the domain. They couldn't find who was really behind it because, of course, they used fake info on everything.

I bet $100 that the owner is Russian. They are the only ones that use Yandex Analytics.

The backup domain was registered in 2022 and was first indexed by Google in October 2023. I suppose they foresaw the outcome of the legal action and enabled the backup domain to start moving. I just can't understand how Google can index a domain that is 100% thin and duplicate content of another site with over 26,000 DMCA notices, resulting in 2,744,243 URLs removed from the index.

Something interesting is that, despite the quiet launch of this backup domain less than a month ago, some certain dude has already updated his porn list with a full review of the new domain.

There are too many people interested in having this site up and running. The hosting, CloudFlare, that dude...

By the way, maybe the payment option is presented to logged users because I can't see any option to buy videos.
