AWE stopped counting rebills?

I've had two whales earning me thousands of dollars every year for over a decade. Since AWE revamped their statistics, nothing. Not sure when they changed to their new affiliate dashboard because I hadn't logged in for several months, but today I looked and I see no income for 3 months.

Not sure if they are doing that or not.
But it's not unprecedented.

AEBN did the same thing to me over 10 years ago.

I was making thousands of dollars with them from rebills.

Then suddenly I got a check for like $100 or so.

I write them and ask what the hell is going on. They inform me that they "changed their terms" and now all my members I sent them over the years would be counted from the last URL they came from.

So unless a member had bookmarked the login with my affiliate code (spoiler: NONE did) I lost all those sales.

TOTAL AND COMPLETE RIPOFF

I had purposefully chosen lifetime revshare instead of PPS with AEBN because I foolishly trusted them.

By now they probably "owe" me hundreds of thousands of dollars that they will never pay me.

You should get a lawyer to make AEBN give you those lost earnings. Surely a sponsor can't change their terms retrospectively.

Naughty America once owed me thousands of dollars and wouldn't even respond to my emails for over a year. So I got a lawyer to threaten them and they conceded quite promptly. It only cost me $200 at most if I remember correctly and I got over $7,000 owed to me straight back.

The good thing about AWE is they give you the usernames of your signups, so it should be pretty easy to determine if they are still active, or hard for AWE to hide the fact. But hopefully its just a coincidence that my whales have stopped spending and they will be back, but I checked my stats again and every pay period this year at least one of them had spent money until August 15. I've never had any problems with AWE before, and I even defended them here when they came in for criticism.

There must be quite a few members with LiveJasmin whales here.

Does anyone know the best way of finding out if a username is still active?

Looks fishy.

Isn't this how AWE has always operated? You get revshare on your spender for 14 days and then they go back into the general pool until they click another affiliate link?

It gets confusing:

TIERED LIFETIME REVENUE SHARE:
Earn 35-45% from the lifetime spending of an account if the user is NEW to our site network. The account will be tied to your affiliate ID on a database level and you will earn commission after their credit purchases from the site you referred them to.
On BimBim every user counts as new member when they make their first purchase on the site even if they were already member on other site in our network.

REVENUE SHARE (REVS):
If you refer a user that is not new to our network BUT has not been tied to any AWE affiliates previously via LIFETIME+ or PPS, you will receive 35-45% commission based on the credit purchases generated through your link. Member credit purchases are tracked by your affiliate code stored in a browser cookie on the users’ PC (Cookie validity: 14 days non rewritable, renewable after 14 days).

you had these 2 whales on a white label coming in?

Ben - AWEmpire 11-28-2023 09:12 AM

Hello,

We didn't change our terms, or how our programs work. The new stats uses a different click tracking logic, but that has no effect on your sales whatsoever. And the old stats is still available for now, which works the same way as before the new stats was released. Please contact us at webmaster (@) awempire (dot) com, and we will look into your question.

For the record, briefly: basic REVS brings you a commission as long as the Member has your cookies in their browser (14 days, but the cookies are renewable). After the 14 days pass, you or another Webmaster has the option to bind the user again for 14 days with cookies, and so on.

If the user was new to our system at the time of the first purchase and Lifetime+ is enabled in your account, then the Member is bound to you for lifetime, and you get a commission on subsequent sales of that account on the site you were promoting, regardless of the cookies in their browser.

Conditions apply of course, for example if the user was bound to another Webmaster via Lifetime+ before, or with PPS, then you get no commission.

On your Whitelabel you also get lifetime commissions, unless the user was bound to a Webmaster via PPS before.

Thanks!
