US economist predicts 2024 will bring 'biggest crash of our lifetime'

"Since 2009, this has been 100% artificial, unprecedented money printing and deficits; $27 trillion over 15 years, to be exact. This is off the charts, 100% artificial, which means we're in a dangerous state," Harry Dent told Fox News Digital. "I think 2024 is going to be the biggest single crash year we'll see in our lifetimes."

Canada is importing 4,500+ people per day to replace white people, drive up real estate and drive down wages, a rate 13x higher than the USA.

Seems like an equal number of luxury 1 bedroom condos goes up, then homeless tents, and suddenly your town is flooded with Indian students

Well, if Harry Dent's right and 2024 is going to be the biggest crash of our lifetime, I guess it's time to stock up on popcorn and comfy chairs! I'll be sitting back, watching the economic rollercoaster with my 3D glasses on, ready for the thrill ride. Let's see if this prediction holds more water than a sieve, or if it's just another 'end of the world' prophecy. Either way, I'm prepared – got my emergency kit stocked with snacks and a sense of humor. If the economy does crash, at least I'll have a front-row seat to the show!

I mean, if you look around parts of B.C., it looks like the collapse is in full swing.

I've seen 3 dead bodies since I moved to Kelowna(2021), one stabbed to death on a highway median, two overdosed and blue in the face. One of them was when I was with my kid in the Wendy's fucking drive-thru, dude was dead looking in the bushes like 10 feet away.

In 2015, I knew of like 7 or 8 friends/acquiantances who OD'ed and died that year, including my dealer!

Welcome immigrants!

Immigrants contribute to our economy, not only by filling gaps in our labour force and paying taxes, but also by spending money on goods, housing and transportation. The income tax paid by working Canadians pays for health care, education and other vital service. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration...ck-record.html

Not true. Immigrants are really shaping up Canada in cool ways. First off, they're a big reason why Canada's population is growing so much. Like, 82% of the population growth recently is because of immigration. This is huge because it's expected to be 100% by the 2040s. And you know what? Immigrants are pretty entrepreneurial. In fact, Canada got the top spot for being the best place for entrepreneurs according to the OECD in 2019. Immigrant-run businesses are creating more jobs and growing faster than those run by folks born in Canada. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration...r-10-2021.html

When it comes to jobs, immigrants are filling up important gaps. Canada's got these smart immigration programs picking people who have the skills and education needed for the job market. And guess what? Most of these skilled immigrants catch up to the average Canadian’s salary in less than five years. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration...r-10-2021.html

Culturally, Canada's vibe is all about being diverse and welcoming. Immigrants usually come with solid education and big ambitions, which fits right into Canada's modern, knowledge-based society. They're not just living in Canada; they're actively involved in politics and community stuff, which is great for democracy and all that. https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/...19/s13-eng.htm

In my neighbourhood I am surrounded by Itaians, French, with some greek, some black, 1 Indian family, and even a family of 3 kids with 2 moms. Everyone is cool. And the food - wow.. Every summer there is a big party in the park where we all get to meet and hangout. 2 of the families have recently invited refugees to stay with them. Speaking of refugees.. https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/dail...21026a-eng.htm

How come when you look around Canada, things are so much worse in 2023 than 2013?

I mean, compare the homelessless, overdoses, housing prices, and birthrates in 2023 compared to 2003.

Canada is in a nose-dive of quality of life.

Imagine if we could look up the average age people can move out of their parent's house. We have people 30+ living at home and not starting families because we are importing 4,500+ people per day. This drives down wages and drives up real estate.

Where do you get your info from? In Canada, the services sector is really taking off. It's now a huge part of the economy, making up about 70% of the GDP. Plus, it's not just growing, it's also offering some pretty well-paying jobs, especially in fields like science and tech. https://www.rbcwealthmanagement.com/...cade-of-change

Women in Canada are killing it in the workforce and making more money too: https://www.rbcwealthmanagement.com/...cade-of-change. We are bouncing back from Covid (See https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/.../00002-eng.htm and https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/.../00001-eng.htm). Green energy has taken off and doing really well (see https://www.cer-rec.gc.ca/en/data-an...-pathways.html)... Things are fucking good here man... why do you feel so bad about Canada? It's none of my business, but maybe you hit something personal recently? If you don't want to talk about it no worries.

I forgot to mention - the Canadian dollar is worth less than the US dollar but that is a good thing at least for you and me and for all other businesses in Canada that sell their goods and services to the US. $1.00 USD = $1.333847 Canadian (as of Dec 19 2023 7:22pm EDT), which is freaking awesome. Hopefully you are taking advantage of this like I am.

Dude of course there are problems. Crime, especially in Toronto is out of control and the drug problem, especially in Vancouver is just as bad. It doesn't mean that Immigration should be halted. You are making a direct causation between increased immigration and increased crime, but its not that straight forward. In many places, areas with lots of immigrants don't necessarily have higher crime rates than places with fewer immigrants.

This was just released a couple days ago.

A few highlights:

https://i.imgur.com/rXxsOUr.png

Well, clearly this is because of white heterosexual patriarchy. If we just decolonize Canada and uplift our people of colour, we can beat this!

https://i.imgur.com/Iq5nn6P.png

Well, we had to sacrifice the kids in order for that 85 year old to shit into a diaper for another year or two. Thank GOD we allowed Nana to shit herself for another couple of years, it is unfortunate that little Jenny now wants to cut off her tits and become a boy and little Mohammed is now chanting "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" and watching jihad videos. Oh well, at least Nana was able to have another two quality years of filling adult huggies!

https://i.imgur.com/O48nt7m.png

Wow, that's strange, why are kids suffering from anxiety and depression? They have an amazing life to look forward to. Cheap housing, lots of high paying jobs, a nation that inspires innovation, a place where art and culture thrive!

So to recap, Canada has:

-crashing birthrates
-poisoned drug crisis
-medical treatment wait time crisis
-housing crisis
-youth mental health crisis

Thank goodness we have great leadership, a golden age of Canadian quality of life is just around the corner!

It was not very long ago that questioning levels of immigration resulted in a ban on most city/province subs. What takes the cake is the open REVOLT that is happening in the Ontario sub:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ontario/com..._430000_in_q3/

This sub is the most woke and progressive of all the provincial subs... and until recently, was pretty much 100% in support of the Liberals and immigration... oh how the turn tables Mr. Lahey!

If you want a very sobering experience, take some photos you find online of an apartment in somewhere like, Kelowna, Calgary, or Halifax, then post those photos with a slightly cheaper rent than average, say, $200 a month cheaper than average. You will get 100's of emails and calls per hour.

I just rented a sick little place for $900 all included, with enough room to work on my cars and blast my music. Super lucky to get this place. My landlord said he received 200+ calls the first day and even after I rented it, people were showing up at his house and banging on the door at like 6 PM. He had car after car after car just show up to look at the property and beg him to rent it out. The housing crisis is 100% real and only getting worse.

Canada is in a nose-dive.

I had the best time in Canada, but in the last 7-10 years, Canada has really come apart socially and culturally. As someone who has a very strong sense of intuition, it is hard to ignore the cold trickle down the neck after all there is to observe here. I don't expect you to even acknowledge any downsides to post-national Canada, as you are a complete "vaccine" zealot. Definitely interesting to watch you write your responses in a way that comes across empathetic, while turning a blind eye to legitimate concerns about the direction of the country.

Do you believe in God, Mark?

I do, and something I can't quite put my finger on is asking me to care more about the people who are suffering in our dystopia. Wish I could just laugh about it all and just focus on getting my income back to 10k+ a month again, but something is nagging at my soul. Maybe it is the two disabled seniors I was doing caregiving for in 2018, I went back to see them after COVID was over but both of them had already chosen medically assisted death.

I don't feel like we are living in a dystopia at all. Take a walk in any of Canada's national parks for example. The pristine natural beauty of Canada, from its majestic mountains to its serene lakes, offers a utopian backdrop for a life filled with peace, adventure, and a deep connection with nature. Canada is the farthest thing from a dystopia that I can imagine.

Well buddy, that is freaking terrible. I am sure they both appreciated you for the time you generously provided to them. That was very kind of you. Will do do it again for someone else in the future?

And if that is what is nagging you, then maybe what you are afraid of is simple "the future". I don't like to think about that kind of thing much either, but then I realize, "Do I want to waste my time thinking about that stuff? Hell no..".

Dude don't hate me because I'm smarter than you. Hate yourself for letting your Cognitive Bias and Cognitive Dissonance get the better of you. If you're feeling down on yourself because of cognitive biases and dissonance, remember it's pretty common to get caught in this kind of mental loop. One helpful trick is to start noticing when you're being too hard on yourself or only seeing the negatives. This is your mind playing tricks on you. Talking to a therapist, especially one who knows about cognitive-behavioral therapy, can be super useful to untangle these thoughts. Also, try to be a bit kinder to yourself, just like you would be to a good friend. And hey, learning a bit about these biases can make you more aware of them, which is already a big step. You're not alone in this, and with some effort and support, you can definitely work through it! I believe in you! You can do it! #CanadiansCare. :)

Now in 2023 in the post-COVID world, I find myself anti-social, and other than 4Chan, this is the only place that has a good balance between normal people, ambitious people, business people, freaks, schizos(like me), and weirdos. I feel like one of the best growth industries is drug dealing!

Maybe I'm just a schizo, but I'm so bothered by the current state of society I do have a hard time wanting to participate in it. Scenes like the below are all over my hometown of Vancouver and there are parts of Kelowna looking like this now too. If most of those people are just nutjobs like me who are just less fortunate to not have a little porn income and a baby momma who helps me survive, then I would feel a karmic guilt for not trying to speak up on their behalf.

What kind of society are we handing off to our kids when streets of every major city in Canada have scenes like below? It makes me feel detached and withdrawn to witness this while the country seems to only protest things that happen overseas, or when they force "vaccines" on the population until their bank accounts are shut down.

Everyone dies... sooner or later, but always. Even if we have 2-3 years left, is there any reason to stop living now? :upsidedow

Oh Canadians like you really care yeah? Did you ever tell your mandating-supporting evil peers to stop celebrating unvaccinated Covid deaths? Nope, you never did. Why? bcos you agreed with them. You try to acta as if you're a kind gentle honest person, but in fact you have been dishonest & disgusting about so many things. You guys hate when Covid is brought into topics, but fact is, Covid showed us the truth about how terrible people can be, and you're one of the terribles.

I live at the base of Cheyenne mountain here in Colorado and have been watching the skies, so much activity lately? Something is definitely happening:2 cents:

You have gone off the deep end like the rest of the people in your circle-jerk. That's too bad, I kinda thought we were making some friendly progress in another thread. Oh well. Your loss, not mine. Have a good Chrismas if you can, idiot.
