How do you contact Paxum?

Does anyone know how I can contact Paxum? Can't find any contact details on their site.

I have an account with Paxum but they have just limited the account because my ID they had on file was my Passport and it expired last month. The passport was valid when I set up my Paxum account about 5 months ago.

It's frustrating because they are now requesting that I identify myself again with a passport or driving license or identity card. I don't drive so don't have a driving license and I don't have any id card. I only have my passport which has now expired. I don't want to renew my passport as I know I'm never going to use it again. It's time consuming and expensive to renew it.

So I'd like to contact Paxum about this but can't find away.

Possibly a time saving solution - Apply for a UK learners driving licence. You can do it online for £34 - https://www.gov.uk/apply-first-provi...riving-licence

That way even though you dont intend to drive, you've paid £34 and have a legit, government issued photo ID...

OK, while checking online it does say you need 'something like' a passport to apply. There are a list of things that you can use instead of a passport, but not sure how much effort you want to put into it...

Not saying its the best solution - But it IS A Solution :thumbsup £34 instead of £82.50 to renew your passport...

For a verified Paxum personal account we do require a valid Proof of Identity (picture ID) and a valid Proof of Address be confirmed for your account. When a picture ID expires we need a new valid ID to be provided to us. There is no way to bypass this requirement.

You can reach our support team at any time through email at [email protected] - we have live chat on our website and we have a toll free phone number where you can reach our team to discuss your account. :thumbsup

What country are you in? Around here, if you don't drive, you just go to a BMV and get a basic government ID free.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'll look into that. Also I wonder what other ID card Paxum would accept instead of a Passport or Driving License. I'll see if I find out.

I live in the UK. A government ID card might be the way to go. I'll have to check first with Paxum if that would be acceptable.

Hi Ruth, thanks for your reply. It is frustrating that I have already been verified but now have to get a new passport just because it's expired. But I appreciate they are the rules you have to follow.

Do you have a list of Identity Cards that you would accept, other than a passport or driving license? I can't find such a list.

On the Paxum app I tried to find out but it only gives a list of things Paxum don't accept like birth certificates, company Id, credit card, International driving permit, ect...

Problem with 'General' UK government ID cards, is that they are really just 'proof of age cards' to be used as proof to get served for youngsters. Nothing wrong with that in itself, but they dont get taken seriously by many organisations as they are so easily forged...

If there is such a thing as an 'Adults ID card', I have yet to hear of it.

Yes, that's probably true. I need to find out what Identity Cards they will accept.

Well I'm non binary so I hope that doesn't cause any issues. My pronouns are they, them, their, that, it, and myself. It depends on how I feel at any given time.

Thanks. That might be a simple solution. I've just emailed Paxum to ask for a list of what they would accept for ID, other than a passport or driving license.

I'll let you know here, later, how I get on.

I emailed Paxum explaining everything. They replied with this:

***********
We hope you are well and thank you for choosing our services.
Since your passport has expired, we kindly ask you to upload one of the following documents to the platform:

- Passport;
- National identity card;
- Driver's license;

Note: Please remember that the information on the document must be clearly legible, of good image quality and the details fully visible.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping us to maintain the highest level of security.
***********************

It seems just like an automatic reply they send to everyone. I did ask some questions in my email but they haven't answered.

So it seems the only other ID Paxum will accept other than a passport or driving licenese is a National Identity Card.

But in the UK it seems National Identity Cards have been scrapped:

https://www.gov.uk/identitycards

So I really don't know what I'm going to do.

I'll look into that later. I think I'll just let money accumulate in my Paxum Account and then later look for the easiest and cheapest way to identify myself again. The Paxum account I have is just linked to 3 affiliate programs I promote. I will probably only earn about $300 a month from them so I might let it accumulate into a few thousand before I attempt to identify myself with Paxum.
