Anybody from Sweden? I want to move to Luleå for a year or two.
I really love Sweden and have been thinking about moving there. I went to Kiruna (where I have some family members) last year and loved it, but its a bit too far from everything. I hear a lot of good things about Lulea. Any down side of living there?

Great internet, and infrastructure overall.
It's safe, and relatively cheap. But it's also of course, subarctic, cold/dark/terrible. Couple weeks of sunshine on a good year. If you're into winter activities it's probably ok. |
Go there only if you hate the sun and don't want to see it most of the year.

I have visited Sweden many times.
When I was in my 20, I used to attend the Roskilde Festival in Denmark.... I would meet so many girls from Sweden at Roskilde. I would spend the rest of the summer hitchhiking through Scandinavia, banging so many girls I met at the festival. |

I would cross the border to Norway if I was you. The countries are pretty much the same but we're much richer and have nicer nature :)

Been to Stockholm and Copenhagen, that cold feels different, especially when the wind blows. I'm not used to it. |
"Only country where the clouds are interesting . . ."

If there are no girls, you can always fuck a horse or sheep.
That is legal in Sweden. "Swedes who have sex with horses should be more gentle, Sweden’s main animal-rights group said this week. Bestiality is legal in Sweden, as long as the animal is not harmed. But a report released this week that looked at more than 200 cases of human-animal sex—161 involving horses, 18 with dogs, and 17 involving cattle—found that many of the animals had genital injuries. The government commissioned the report last year after veterinarians noted a rise in sexual abuse of animals. The Swedish Animal Welfare Agency said stricter laws were needed to protect animals from harm during sex with humans, although it stopped short of calling for a ban." |
